Scars

Marinette and Alya just got off the bus. Their class took a field trip to the beach to celebrate the end of school.

Alya dragged Mari to the bathroom so they could get changed, Alya being really eager to make Adrien a blushing mess by how good her bestie would look. Alya came out and waited on Mari and when she did, Alya was a bit disappointed. Mari was wearing a cover up.

Now don't get me wrong, Mari knew she had a great body since she's a superhero but being a superhero has it's downfalls. She had a ton of scars.

Alya dragged Mari out to the beach and Alya saw Adrien taking off his shirt. She quickly turned Mari's head in that direction knowing that her friend would probably hypervenalate. Mari and Alya gasped at Adrien....he was covered in scars.

Scars that Marinette knew too well..........

As oblivious as she was, she quickly connected the pieces together.

Adrien is Chat Noir

Normally she would be passed out or be screaming her head off in disbelief but she was too mad to care about any of that.

She slowly walked away from Alya and up to Adrien. Everyone who was staring at Adrien was now staring at Mari.

She slowly got behind him and growled once she saw his scars up close. She spun him around, surprising him and did something she'd never do.

"YOU STUPID ALLEY CAT!!!" she roared while slapping him across the face so hard, his head whipped to the side. Everyone including Adrien gasped.

"HOW MANY GODDAMN TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU TO STOP TAKING HITS FOR ME?!?!" she roared angrily and pushed him, causing him to stumble back a bit.

Everyone stared at her in shock and confusion.

Adrien quickly realized that Marinette was his lady.

"HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU THAT I DON'T WANT YOU TO GET HURT!?! I CAN'T HAVE YOU GET HURT ON MY WATCH!!" Adrien yelled back mad and shocked everyone besides Mari, she was waaaaay too mad.

"DO YOU REALIZE THAT YOU COULD HAVE DIED DUMBASS?!?" Mari yelled, she was furious. Chat getting hit was one thing but finding out that the boy she wanted to be safe at all times is him? It crossed the- everything.

"AND YOU? YOU'RE LADYBUG WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DIE?! PARIS CAN'T LOOSE YOU!! I CAN'T LOOSE YOU BECAUSE I LOVE YOU GODDAMNIT!!" Adrien yelled and slapped his hand over his mouth once he realized what he just said but that made Mari even more mad. Everyone gasped at Adrien words but the 2 heroines were deaf to their surroundings.

"WHAT ABOUT ME HUH?! HAVE YOU EVER ONCE THOUGHT ABOUT HOW I WOULD FEEL?! LOOSING YOU IS THE WORST THING THAT COULD EVER HAPPEN TO ME!! ALL MY NIGHTMARES AND INSOMNIA ARE BECAUSE OF YOU!! I SPEND ALL DAY AND NIGHT WORRYING FOR ADRIEN AND CHAT NOIR!! NOW I FIGURE OUT WAY TOO LATE THAT THE BOY I PROMISED MYSELF I WOULD PROTECT, EVEN IF IT KILLED ME IS THE STUPID CAT THAT TAKES HITS FOR ME?! DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW MUCH THAT HURTS ME?! I WOULD RATHER DIE THAN YOU GET HURT BUT YOU CAN'T SEE PAST YOUR FUCKING FEELINGS FOR ME TO EVEN NOTICE THAT EVERYTIME YOU GET HURT AS WHOEVER I HAVE TO HOLD BACK FROM CRYING BECAUSE I GET SO SCARED!! I FUCKING LOVE YOU ADRIEN SO PLEASE JUST STOP TAKING HITS FOR ME!!" Marinette screamed, pounding her fists on his chest, and by the time she was done, she was in tears. Adrien and everyone stood there in shock. Adrien was crying as well.

Nightmares? Insomnia? All because of me? She fucking loves me....all this time, Adrien thought

Adrien wanted to hug her but he saw something, there was a scar on Mari's collarbone.
