I "Repair" My Car

       After a long day of school, studying, and cross country, I finally collapse on my bed. A whole half hour of me time! Usually I just watch The Big Bang Theory while on my phone, eating junk food, and listening to the radio. Unfortunately the stupid TV didn't record last night's episodes. Ugh. But if I didn't get 30minutes away from everyone each day... well let's just say it's not pretty. (My mom learned the hard way) Anyway I had nothing to do.

       I roll over and spot Arion's card on my desk. Hmmm. Oh come on! It's a car shop he just suggested it for me. It's not like I'll be able to get to him. I pick up my cell and dial the number.

      A lady with a squeaky voice answers, "Hardy Brothers' Car Repair! How may I help you?"

     What was I thinking?

      "Uh, Do you know an Arion Valdez over there?"

       "Arion? Oh, he's working right now on a chevi. Would you like me to put him on the line?"

       "Um, ya. Sure- I mean, yes, that'd be great. Thank you."

        The squeaky polite lady changed to a harsh old woman's voice in the background,"ARIOON!! GET YOUR LAZY BUM DOWN HERE! YOU GOT A CALL!" Then she went cheerful again,"One second, Dear. He's coming."

         "Hello?" His voice was low and had a hint of annoyance in it.

          "Is this Arion?" was all I could manage.

          "Yeah, uh, who is this?"

          "Oh sorry. Name's Stephanie. I met you yesterday at the game." Does he remember me? Probably not.

           "Oh, Stephanie! Yeah, I remember."

           "Ya, well you gave me a card with this number."

           "Oh...Ya, I was, uh, wondering if you wanted to check out some stuff over here. I mean if you want a repair or something. You know... I mean if you want."

           I smile,"Sure, what time?" Even though my car was perfectly fine.

          "Tonight good? I'm working late and Cathy will only let employees and customers until after hours."

         "Ok fine with me. Where is this place?"

         "Redwinds Street, right across the parking of the shut down Barnes and Nobles parking lot."

         I look at the time. It's 8:11pm  "Be there in an hour"

         "K. See ya."

         "See ya." I hang up.

        I get ready. I wear black Jeans, a white and black tee with an icon, and a light red hoody.

       Ok now to find a detraction. Ya you think my mom is actually going to let me go see a guy at a repair shop that I never heard of that I just met in 8:30pm? Answer is no. However if I accidentally took Kinsley's chemistry book along with mine when we have a big text tomorrow? Answer is "Oh no! Sweety you better go give it to her right now!" Her house is like 2 hours away. That'll give me enough time. I'm a genius!

        "Mom! I accidentally brought Kinsley's chemistry book with me. I'm gonna go bring it to her so she can study for that big test tommorrow. I'm leaving to her house." Ya right. hehehe! I think.

         "Again?! You really need to watch whose book you put in your bag!" So maybe I used something like this last week to be with Kinsley. So?! Don't judge me!
