"Happy Birthday, Hudson!" He smiled as he stuffed himself with his favorite red velvet pancakes. "Mom, Where's my gifts" I studied the surrounding area in search of my entitled birthday presents. The red gum that was stuck to my undergrowth of the light brown circle table was the only thing I observed to be new and fresh inside my circumstances.
My dad looked at my lovely mother. Her blond hair circled for the extra special occasion. I knew exactly what that glare included. *you forgot my gifts....". -
I woke up...
my head pounding and my white Orphanage uniform Tee, drenched in sweat. "I had "the dream" again. I mumbled to myself. The room was dark that I didn't know what to do. I stood to my feet my body and my hair stiffened. wet along with my sheets that would now be freezing because of the thermostat being broken and the temperature outside. As I passed the side of my bed I noticed a small red box with what seemed to be white ribbon. As I picked up the small strangely familiar package. I opened the package I let out a Shriek, A squeal that might've woken up about the entire London Avenue. Heavy breaths continued as the eye ball that sat in the middle of an ear rolled and tumbled across the cold wooden floor.
I felt a tap on my neck. A extremely potent and inundated breath. I slowly turned around as a body spewed blood into my face and dove into my arms as I yelped once more. The now bloody eyeless and earless man had fallen into my sweat drenched arms.
His final words shook him still as he pulled my own ear closer so that I could listen. "Save ... yourself". He spoke engulfing his own blood down his throat. His lungs now full. I held him as he twisted and pulsed no more.
The bloody stranger now was .... Dead.
