I'm numb. I feel as though my life lacks something, something vital to happiness. I'm alone I have no one, nothing to comfort me when I'm feeling worthless. Death couldn't come quick enough to drag me to the deepest depths of the dark side. I want to die, I want this nightmare to end. I think as I stare out of the large window in my living room.

I notice a large blue moving van in the front yard of the house across from mine. I frown, just another person with a perfect amazing life. Why cant i just be happy?

I turn and try to blink away the pain, but when I look back I see her, shes absolute perfection. I try to look away but can't seem to tear my eyes from her beauty, and honestly I don't want to.

Her hair is golden and her eyes blue. When I snap out of my thoughts, I realize I'm reaching out trying to touch her. I quickly put my hand in my lap, I  look back up and see her trying to carry some large boxes to the house. I jump up and rush out the front door, I slow down and casually walk across the street and stop at the edge of her yard.

"Need help?" I asked my voice barley audible.

"Some help would be nice." She smiled at me and my knees got weak. Her smile is so beautiful, she has perfect white teeth.

I rushed to her side and grabbed the box she was struggling with, "let me get that." I said smiling at her, she smiled back.

"Well thank you." She thanked me and said, "just put them by the door please."

"Are you sure?" I asked, " because I can take them inside the house if you want."

"Aw are you sure you wouldn't mind?" She asked me.

I shrugged my shoulders and replied,    "not at all."

" Ok yeah that sounds good thanks. Oh and I never caught your name."

"Oh yeah its..." My name, whats my name? "Its... JT! Thats it, JT. But call me Jay. Haha..." I did an awkward nervous laugh.

"Haha well, hello Jay." She stuck her hand out to shake, I happily took it. We shook hands and she went to pull away, but I couldn't release her hand. She laughed and finally got her hand away from me.

"Uh... sorry," I said nervously.

"So how long have you lived here... Jay?"

"For two years." I answered her question. "And whats your name?"

"Elise, its Elise."

"Wow that's beautiful."

"Thanks," she blushed.

I carried the box in my hand to the door and stood waiting for her to open it. She walked to the door and opened it, just set that one in the kitchen, please." She pointed to the big kitchen. I walked in and set the box down in an empty corner. "Thanks for helping me I really appreciate it." She said.

"No problem." I inhaled her sweet scent she smelled like white roses, such a delightful scent. We talked a little longer and I helped her move all the boxes into the house.

And then I went home, smiling. For the first time in a while I'm smiling, I feel as though I no longer have nothing, I feel as though I have Elise. I smile at the thought of her. I now have a reason to live on.

I went home and watched TV for a while, until I got tired.

I slowly walked to the bathroom thinking about Elise. I look in the mirror and just stare at my reflection for a minute. Then I looked down and grabbed my toothbrush, I put tooth paste on it and looked back up at my reflection. But this time, she was standing right by me. I squeezed my eyes shut and opened them, and she was gone.

What just happened? I questioned myself not really expecting a response.

I shook my head as if to shake the thought away and brushed my teeth. When I finished, I went to my bedroom and shut off the light. I layed down and dosed off.

I stared at her, she looked gorgeous. With her golden hair up in a loose bun, loose curls falling around her face as she smiled and walked toward me holding a boutique of black roses with thick sticky red liquid dripping off of them. I smiled back at her, and admired the lovely black dressed that adorned her perfect figure. It was a tight, short black strapless, lacy dress with silver designs decorating the front.

Her eyes were blood red and were outlined with thick black eyeliner. Her lips were covered with black lipstick.

She finally stopped in front if me and I said, "Elise you are amazing, you changed me, made me feel thing I never thought existed you bring happiness into my life. You fill the huge gapping void in my black heart, and for that I will love you always. I do."

I stared straight into her eyes as she began her vows. "Jay, you are amazing and I want to spend the rest of forever with you. I do."

A man I didn't recognize said, I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss the bride."

I leaned in, as did she, and our lips met...

I opened my eyes, as consciousness kidnapped me from my amazing dream.

And thats when I realized: She WILL be mine! I will stop loving her to no avail.
