Chapter 12. The Final, Flashsideways

"What the fuck," I whisper.

I stand up and give him a hug.

The biggest hug ever.

"I missed you," I say while hugging him.

"Right back atcha," he says.

"We have to go find Juliet," I say wiping my tears away.

"What? How?"

"You're a detective, look her up in the system, see where she works."

He sits down at his computer and I look over his shoulder.

He types Juliet Burke.

All that comes up is one parking ticket but it does have where she works.

We see she works at a hospital not far from here.

When we get there, we start to look for her.

We've searched two floors but no sign of her.

We get to the third floor and as we exit the elevator we see Jack.

But he doesn't recognize us.

James and I split up to see if we can find her.

I've looked everywhere but nothing, I decided to go see if James found her.

I walk up and I see James and Juliet holding each other.

I feel tears flood my eyes.

"Juliet?"

"Hey, Hayley."

I run up and I hug her wrapping my arms around her neck

We make it to the church and I see Ben sitting outside alone.

I walk over to him.

"What are you doing? Why aren't you inside with the others?" I ask.

"I don't belong in there."

"Yeah, you do. You're one of us Ben...come on."

I smile and James, Juliet, Ben and I walk inside the church.

Inside I see everybody I care about, people I haven't seen in years.

First and I see Hurley and Libby and I hug them.

Then I see Charlie and Claire.

My eyes start to fill with tears.

"Hey Charlie."

"Hello Hayley."

I give him and Claire a hug.

Then I see Desmond and who I'm almost positive is Penny.

I go and give Desmond a hug.

"Hayley, this is Penny," Desmond says.

"I've heard so much about you," I say.

"I've heard a lot about you too," she says.

Then I see Boone and Shannon, they died so long ago.

I give them hugs too.

Then Kate and Locke walk into the church.

I give them hugs.

The only one missing is Jack.

I hug Jin and Sun too.

I look and I see Jack.

I walk up to him.

"We've been waiting for you," I say and I give him a hug.

After I hug everybody I walk back to James.

All of us sit down.

I lean my head on James' shoulder.

Christian, Jack and Claire's dad, leaves.

The entire room fills with light.
