Their Not So Love Story

Chapter Nine

The ravenette walks down the road of Konoha. Even though he is free from being called a criminal, there are still some people who give him glare. Well, it's not usual to see an ex-criminal walking freely at the street, for some people they can't just accept him yet.

"Sasuke-kun~" said Karin, his former teammate. "Did you agree about the proposal?" She added.

I almost forgot about that damn proposal. He remembered, another headache. He didn't want to get married yet, especially to some stranger.

"Hn" he replied. Neither no and definitely nor yes.

"What's that supposed to mean?" The sharked teeth asked.

"I knew it!" Exclaimed the red head. "Of course he'll say no. Sasuke-kun's mine"

"Heh, in your wildest dream four eyes." Smirked Suigetsu.

"What did you say shark boy?" Gritted Karin.

"Oh, nothing bitch"

"Idiot"

"Slut"

"Knuckle head"

"Hopeless"

"What? Who're you calling hopeless?!" She exclaimed and punch the water boy in the head. The continued bickering.

"Aren't you gonna do something about the proposal Sasuke?" Juugo asked walking ahead of the two.

"Hn, I don't know yet" the Uchiha replied.

"Well, whatever your decision is, just always follow your heart so you won't regret anything" the orange head advised.

"Hn" he nodded and continued to walk.

Today is Sunday and the pinkette decided to go shopping to release some stress she's having lately. She wore her usual clothes and went ahead to the market. Upon arriving at the shop she can't help but heard gossips.

"Have you heard? The fiancé of Uchiha will visit Konoha later." Said an middle aged woman.

"Really? So, it's finally decided then. They'll start the Uchiha restoration sooner or later." Said the other.

"One of the greatest and powerful clan will stand up again" agreed the woman holding a basket.

"I heard the girl is very beautiful!" Exclaimed the first woman.

"What do we expect from the daughter of a daimyo" agreed the other.

"They really match, no doubt the kid will be beautiful as they're parents"

Sakura's fist tightened. She can't even imagine a life without Sasuke, worst, him having his own family. She keep herself from breaking, no, not today, not especially in a public place like this. She didn't want to receive pitiful stares from people. She didn't want to show people how weak she is.

Immediately, she paid for the goods and left. She went straight ahead on her room after dropping her things on the kitchen table.

There, in a place where she is alone. A place where no one can here her inner screams. A place where she can freely let go all her emotions without someone bothering her. She let the waterfall of her feelings fall from her eyes together with a painful sobs she kept for long.

She knew she can't do anything. The man she loves for her life can never love her back. And now, she needed to wake up from her fantasies of being with him forever. He can't never be hers and she will never be his.

Idiot! I should have known that this day will come. She scold herself. But I didn't know it will happen soon. She added.

Hours spent with her tearful crying. She keep telling herself that move on, you are not the one for him. Be happy to whatever might happened. Be happy for him, and let go. Let go of the feelings you have that'll never return.

And with that, peace  finally consumed her as her eyes close  and drift into a deep slumber.
