A/N: Izuku and Katsuki are 7 years old in this fanfiction (Just think about their ages when you read it, it'll get even worse when they get older)
Lightning strikes, thunder rumbles, and the children fall asleep, That is the routine of stormy nights. However, in one household that routine is different. Their routine is wake up, eat breakfast, go to school, hide from their parents in fear, be found, get beaten for disobeying, clean up the wounds, and then go to sleep. That is Izuku Midoriya's daily routine and because of that 'routine' he is malnourished because he only eats once or twice a day if he's lucky and covered in wounds, from gashes to bruises he has them. However, he never let the abuse and malnourishment get to him. At least not until that fateful day, the day that he gained his quirk and his life changes, but the question is was it for better or worse?

Today was just a normal day of hiding from my so called parents. Aren't parents supposed to keep their children safe instead of harming them? Their loud, heavy footsteps resounded throughout the silent house.
"Where did you go, you insufferable brat?" My mother shouted angrily
My father kicked something - maybe a box - out of his way, hard, it hit the wall and fell to the floor.
'This isn't good, they're angrier than ever' Izuku thought, 'if they find me, the beating will be worse than yesterday, but if I continue hiding then tomorrow might be the day I die'
After a few more moments Izuku made his decision, 'I'll come out of hiding'
Izuku came out from his hiding place and walked over to his 'parents'.
'I-Is th-there s-something you n-need?" he stuttered
"Shut up!" His father kicked him in the gut and he his back hit the fridge, "I don't want to hear that whiny voice of yours!"
His mother walked up to him and grabbed his hair, pulling his head up to see his face. She then proceeded to shout profanities and how worthless he was to his face. When she was done she threw him to the ground and walked away, not sparing even a single glance towards his direction. His father walked over to him.
'I'm dead now aren't I?'
"What are you doing just sitting there! Go make us dinner!"
'That's weird, he usually hits me more than just once'
I stood up, only then realizing the pain that was inflicted onto me, and started making dinner. Nothing too extravagant just chicken and mashed potatoes. Once I finished cooking I set the table for the two of them. Father was the first one to make it to the table and he sat down and started eating while I left to get mother to come down. To say she was angry that I bothered her was an understatement. She hit me in the jaw, stomach, both legs, and back before she left to eat.
'She's angrier than she usually is, normally she only hits me once or twice but today it's like she's father'
....
'Oh well no point in thinking about it'
-------Toshinori-----------
"Are you sure about this?" he asked
"I've never been more sure about anything in my life!"
"Fine, but don't get yourself killed Toshinori, remember you're still recovering from your battle with All for One"
"I'll be fine Tsukauchi, don't worry"

School, eight hours of learning pointless shit, also happens to be the place where Kacchan likes to bully me. The bullying is okay though, since he only degrades my very being and sometimes sets off explosions on my arms. I'm lucky he doesn't know about my parent's abuse since he would most likely bully me for that as well. Nowadays I barely even flinch when he hits and burns me, at first I thought that not reacting would make Kacchan stop but it only made him angrier. The angrier Kacchan got the more likely I would end up with a couple more scars and bruises than usual.
