Surprises and Heartbreaks

Cat's POV

I have been so depressed since Mack left. I haven't had anyone to make me laugh. Her jokes were stupid but they always cheered me up. I was sitting on my bed watching a Twilight marathon, it always seems to brighten my day but I feel worse. We always watched it together even though she hated the movie. She would watch it just for me. I miss her soooo much. 

While I was sobbing at the fact that Bella was dying an amazing idea popped into my head. Chicago kids don't start school for another two weeks. I decided to call Mack's mom and ask if we can visit for a week and surprise her.

I called her and she of course said yes. I mean the lady is practically my mom. I texted the gang and told them to be here by 2:00 and we would drive there in Derek's truck.

I'm soooooooooooooooooo happyI get to see my sister again.

Mack's POV

I am soooo pissed. I have been texting Cat and everyone else and they are all ignoring me. I swear this is pissing me off. It's Friday and I'm currently in Physics. I'm sitting next to this weird guy named Frank and he smells like Doritos. I swear he and this girl name Melissa are the only two paying attention. The teacher, Mr.Parkson is so damn boring and he is making me super sleepy. To keep myself awake I play Subway Surfers on my phone. I was about to beat my high score until Jake scared the living shit out of me.

"BOO". "Ahhhhh, Jake what the fuck man I was about to beat my high score" I said with anger. He was laughing so hard he nearly died. How is the teacher not doing anything. I guess he just learns to deal with it. Jake pulls up a chair and sits next to me just staring at my face. 

"Why are you staring at me?" I say with a blank face. "Because your beautiful." he said with a smile. I blushed super hard and I tried to hide it but he grabbed my chin and made me look into his eyes. HIs eyes were a hazel brown and I am a sucker for them. Gosh he was sexy but I love Derek. 

"Don't look away, I like your smile." he said moving closer to my face. I swear he was about to kiss me but the bell rang and I ran for it. He chased me but I was too fast. I ran to my car and just sat in there. I only had one class left so I didn't care. I just sat there and cried. I was about to kiss him .Like I actually wanted to. His eyes were bringing me in and those soft lips were putting me in a trance. I heard someone knocking on my window and turned to see Jake. I immediatley turned my car on and drove home. I sped off leaving him there. 

I couldn't go home because my parents would know something was up. I decided to just go to a nearby park and clear my head. I walked out my car and went to sent on a bench. It wasn't super hot so it felt nice to sit there. I tried to call Cat again but there was no answer. Ugghhhhh where is she.

Jake's POV

"Don't look away, I like your smile." I said moving closer to her face. She was truly beautiful. Her long hair sutied her, she had a great sense of style, her face was a light carmel color and she had plump pink lips. I was so close to kissing her but the bell rang and she bolted for the door. Damn. I tried running after her but her ass was fast. I had a feeling she went to her car so I checked there. 

I walked up yo her range rover and saw her crying. Did I do that to her? I knocked on her window and when she saw me she sped off. Leaving me there a little hurt. I walked to my car feeling a couple of things. Anger because she ran away from me, Sadness because she wouldn't let me apologize for making her feel uncomfortable, and Hurt because I really want her to be mines. 

I hopped in my Audi and drove home thinking of what I will do to make her mines.

Derek's POV

I got a text from Cat saying we were all going to Miami to surprise Mack. When I read it I was jumping with joy but then I suddenly felt guilt. Ever since I slept with Nikki I can't stop thinking of what Mack would say. I'm not going to tell her because I love her too much but I'm scared that Nikki will tell her when we get there. I pushed that thought to the back of my mind and started packing. Once I finished I went to go buy something for my one true love. Mackenzie Ariana Smith.

I drove to a Kay jewelers and stepped inside. I went straight to a employee and asked about custom made rings. She told me that I could purchase them but they would be 500 each. I nodded my head and she took me to the back of the store. I told her that I wanted two rings. One with Mack on it and one with Derek. She told me to sit and wait and she told some guy my order. I waited for about an hour until I was presented with two real silver rings with my name in one and Mack's on the other. I payed her and left. Mack will love this,

-Skipping to the Surprise-

Cat's POV

"Terrance there is her street, make a left." i said directing him to Makc's home. He pulled up to her house and we all were in complete shock. Her house was amazing. Terrance parked the car on the street and I called Rose. 

We talked for like a minute or two and she told me that Mack would be home in like ten minutes. We all grabbed our suitcases and hid them in a guest room. We all went to her room and sat in random places. I sat in front of her bed, the triplets and Ali sat on the bed and the guys all stood on the side of the bed.

Mack"s POV

I decided to treat myself to a spa day just to calm my nerves. I got my hair and nails done. I got purple streaks all throughout my hair and I got a french manicure. I pulled into my driveway and walked in my house.

"Mom, Dad I'm home" I didn't here a response so I guess they were busy. I shrugged my shoulders and walked up to my room. I opened my door and what I saw nearly made me cry.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh what are you guys doing here." All my friends were just sitting in my room waiting for me. They all embraced me and I was soooo happy again. I swear I hugged Cat the most. I really needed my best friend right now. I finally pulled away and jumped on Derek. He hugged me and pulled me into a long and wonderful kiss. We both pulled back because we couldn't breathe. I hugged all of my other friends. When I hug Nikki she didn't hug back like normal. I just shrugged it off.

"Well now I know why none of you assholes returned my calls or texts" I said with a smile. They all laughed and Andre spoke up. "Well if we talked we wouldn't have kept the secret now would we" I laughed and threw a pillow at him. They all told me how cool my house was. Terrance was yelling at me when he saw my hair. "Why would you do that you look rebellious. That's my thinnng" he said with a pouty face. To make him feel better I mentioned the game room we had. As soon as I metioned the game room Terrance, Andre, and Derek ran out my room. I was happy because now I got to gossip with my girls.

When I told them about Jake I swear all there mouths dropped to the floor. I told them I didn't kiss him of course and they all breathed in relief. We talked about lots of things. They all loved my hair and they told me anything I missed in Chicago. I didn;t miss much and I also mentioned Jamie and Cat got all defensive. I just laughed and said I got it under conrtol. She became at ease and we all just laughed. Gosh, I missed all the talks we had. This is amazing.

We finished talking and decided to see what the boys were up too. We walked down and saw them playing some video game with each other. We pried them away from the controllers and we watched movies and aint loads of junk food all night. I was estactic that all my friends were back again and they were staying for a week.
