"Another day of school, sweet." I say, sarcastically as I raise my glance at the tall building from campus, feeling the heavy dark circles under my eyes make me feel tiredness overwhelming me but, as always, I force a smile as I walk inside the empty, long hallway of the collage, looking around. Still getting used to this since school since classes started just a couple of days ago
I find my class and smile to myself when I see the teacher is not inside yet. I make my way over to my friends, yes collage just started but I'm quite a talkative person, making friends is quite easy for me since I don't care if I make a first "bad impression" whatsoever.
"Yooo~" Bella giggles before punching my arm, she's quite strong for a five foot four girl. I let out a tired whine, glancing down at the overly excited doll. Seriously, she's a real life doll. Big, round eyes, long eyelashes, red cheeks and freckles here and there. Too bad her large round glasses ruin the doll look, but they look good on her.
"I like the new sweater Theo." Markus mentions, referring to my oversized mint green sweater I'm wearing. Of course with my ripped, cuffed black jeans and my vans. My messy hair is on point as well, though now that I think about it, I wish I brushed it at least a bit since I know how much Bella likes calling me... "soft"...
"Thanks, I got it for 6 dollars at the thrift store. Collage life." I let out a soft laughter, the tall boy just chuckled to himself but Bella, oh Bella, that little blonde wheezed so hard like I said the best joke ever. She's that type of friend who would roll on the floor even if you said the worst joke possible just so you won't feel bad.
"Anyhow..." Markus smiled, looking down at me. That six foot tall fucker thinks he's real cool for being 3 inches taller than me, I want to strangle him but in the same time I want to hug him to death. Damn, this boy. "You said you were working on something last night, right? Pastel based or something like that."
"Oh!" My head perks up, taking off my backpack and putting it on the nearest desk. "Of course, yes!" Sometimes I get over excited when it comes to art, what can I say, I'm passionate. I love art. Art is a part of me and I am art.
I take a one feet six on two feet two paper I worked on last night out of my backpack. It's not really school related, I draw quite a bunch for fun. It's a piece with my original characters being all buddy-buddy with each other, even though I know, they hate each other. Most of them. The short girl screams excitingly, pointing to my character, Emma, that has short green hair. "Oh my god! She looks exactly like me! I love herrr yesss!! She's uh- Elisa!" "Emma" Markus corrects her, smiling to himself. He really pays attention to detail and everything I ramble about my original characters. He's truly sweet. Too bad he has... a girlfriend. Oh well, at least Ann is nice.
While discussing with my friends about the backstories for every oc on the paper, this blonde boy walks right in front of me, tapping my shoulder. He was taller than me, surprisingly, so I needed to look up to make eye contact while he was talking.
"Yo pal, my friend really likes your art and all, he's too super duper shy to tell you though. " the blondie goes on, his eye color is a deep red, he must be an albino that dyes his hair. Oh, when people talk to me I tend to make eye contact and I always end up noticing their eye color. When people meet another person's eyes they get all shy but for me it's really simple, for some reason.
I search with my eyes in the direction where this tall guy was showing me his friend was. He was actually pointing towards a group of friends. "The guy with the magenta hair." The boy mentioned, so I lay my eyes over the person in the middle.
And holy
Fuck
He's wearing a black graphic t-shirt with Buttercup from The Powerpuff Girls with the caption "-No" over a shirt pastel pink shirt with black stripes, his hair was dyed yes but you could see his brown roots, he was probably too lazy to dye it again, hah, I guess we got something in common. He had some barely visible freckles on his face and a pair of square glasses on that were, unsurprisingly, pink. And the shape of his glasses was just like mines.
