An ACROSTiC POETRY :PP
Dawnbreaking happens, a sign of a new day
The sun rises, take note, it's a good outlook
Looking forward to a new episode, I smile and say
"What aa beautiful chance for me to live," I sigh and take a look.
Over the years, I never think of the negative things
Pessimism, a "No-No", I try my best not to mind it
Yes, I worry sometimes, but not too much until it brings
Sadness and depression, I fight those and just grab a seat.
Once in awhile, I reflected about my state
Will my happiness and smiles be forever and always?
I grabbed a book and read, an image of an unseen fate
Suddenly crashing through my vision like a lightning which doesn't go but rather stay.
Moments have passed, until I grasped the fact
A strucking truth it hit me, I wanted to run and hide
The word "judgment" when I've heard it, is it really a truthful act
The Mighty One in the future will He judge us all, side by side?
Surprised and anxious, I counted my possible remaining days
Contemplated with my deeds, the bad or good, if there is any
Will I be proud on that time or just wear a masked face
To cover my mistakes, my unkindness, dishonesty and not to mention so many.
Dreams, hopes and desires, I counted on my fingers
I wondered so much, are those things still achievable?
Time passes by, destiny always lingers
Everywhere, all around, reminding me no single thing is stable.
Assumptions of many things, now I always think
"When," I often ask, "the judgment will take place?"
Maybe before that time comes I'd like to say "I love you" to my loved ones before those words sink
To an ocean of what ifs, full of regrets almost no space.
Yell at me loudly, maybe I coud hear no more
Bombarded by the thought that the end is near
Reality strikes at me right inside my inner core
Apocalypse, they say, we will experience it maybe sooner, not later.
