After the long, tiresome journey, we finally arrived in Annapolis. I rolled my box in, a bold handwriting welcomes me, "WELCOME TO MARYLAND"
I simper, feeling accomplished. Not quite long all the procedures were followed and I headed outside. I admired the view of America, the environment is so nice! I was about texting Theresa when someone tapped me. I turned around to see who it was.
A lady in her mid thirties. Fair complexioned, blonde hair, almond shaped eyed with angular defined jaw.
"Hello there. I'm quite sure you're Cole Moyosore Ellen?" She questioned with elegance, as the words flowed freely from her mouth.
"Yeah and you are?" I smiled.
She chuckled pleasantly, removing her sunglasses. "Helen Johnson, an elder sister of Theresa Johnson"
"Oh I see. Thanks for your help, I'm grateful"
"We don't need that" she corrected, rolling my box.
"Yeah, so how's Nigeria? Holy shit, I haven't been there for about sixteen years now" Helen laughed, revealing her tooth gap.
"I never want to go back there till I take my last breath" I said half aloud, making her curious. Just then, I bumped into a woman holding a can of orange juice.
"You fucked up black animal, you bumped into me! Now my glass of orange juice spilled to the floor oh goodness" she cried, causing a big scene.
"Yo bitchy American, stop being a jerk, get your silly juice from the floor, huh!" Helen grabbed my left hand, as I followed her, confused and shocked.
"How much rude!" I rolled my eyes.
"It's one of those things Ellen" Helen closed the boot. "I'm starving, we should seriously get going"

We finally arrived at my new house. I was glad that I screamed for joy.
"We don't do such here, Miss Ellen" Helen pointed out. "You could be jailed for disturbing the neighborhood's privacy"
"Noted" I chuckled. "Nigerian spirit is still in me"
She laughed. "I get it. By the way, you're welcome to the states, Annapolis to be precise"
"Thanks so much"
"Yeah" she flung her bag on the couch. "Come along, let me show you things you need to know'
We walked hand in hand to each corners of the house, as she showed me around. It's a bungalow but trust me, the interior designs, settings and finishings are exquisite. Beginning from the bedrooms down to the closet, bathrooms, kitchen, toilets, garage and the store house.
"I'm amazed, honestly. This is wonderful" I admired.
"one more thing" she began with a serious tone. "This is America, everyone here minds their own business and live their lives the way they please. Rude set of humans, we just have to get used to their way of living. I'll be checking up on you frequently to see you're fine"
