Chapter 21 part 1
Early that morning Pilar woke me up and helped me get my stuff ready to go to Lisbon. Rene’s wife and daughter we’re going to stay with Pilar because she didn’t want to travel because it wasn’t healthy for SJ. Miriam came and picked me up and off we went on our way. It was a short flight to Lisbon but one that was full of laughing, gossip, and sister bonding time. It was just we so we had a blast.
“How was Luca with SJ, Pilar told me you played house with him.”
Miriam said in a serious tone, but I couldn’t help but laugh at her.
“He was great, he’ll be a hella good father one day.”
I said,
“To your babies…”
She muttered, I stared right at her, I didn’t know how to feel about that statement in general.
“I heard that.”
“I know you were meant to, the two of you would have hot kids.”
She said as the plane landed. I couldn’t help but laugh at her. I loved having a sister like her who didn’t take the world to serious, and never failed to make me laugh. We got off the plane and almost instantly into a tax. When we got to the hotel we saw that the whole team had just returned from training, Sergio and Iker came over to us.
“Hey guys how was the flight?”
Sergio asked us while giving both of us a hug and kiss of the forehead.
“It was good, we’re so excited for the game tonight!”
Miriam said,
“Isa can we chat for a moment?”
Iker said, I looked at Sergio and Miriam for reasurence that I got straight away. So Iker and I walked away and sat on chairs that faced each other.
“So I hear you have gotten back together with Luca?”
He said,
“Yeah, is everything ok?”
I asked worried,
“Nothings wrong, I just want to make sure he’s treating you right.”
“Haha he’s great, no need to worry!”
I said, it was the truth even though he was a jerk at the beginning, that wasn’t really him it was Carmen. I told the whole story to Iker, and then he got it. We talked for at least 45 minutes not just about Luca, but also about funny stories. I love spending time with Iker he’s like another brother to me. Now there was only a few hours till they had to leave for the game so we returned to the rest of the team and WAGS.
