"11.45pm... My shift will end in 15 minutes. I'm tired... I want to go home. There are no costumers left.", just as I say that a lady comes into the convenience store. She's rather gorgeous. She's tall, has a good body, beautiful dark brown wavy hair, and wears a beautiful red velvet dress. Unfortunately, she wears a mask so I can't really see her face. She puts a strawberry yogurt on the counter.

" That will be..."

Growl... My stomach growls loudly because I didn't have lunch or dinner and only have instant noodles for breakfast.

"Oh poor dear you must be starving, and from the looks of it, you must be very tired as well.", the gorgeous lady says sympathetically.

"Ah... It's nothing. The yogurt is 40¥."

The gorgeous lady picks an onigiri from the side counter.

"Here, you can have the onigiri, my treat."

"Why thank you, Miss, that will be 120¥."

The lady paid and leave. I noticed that she put her business card below the onigiri.

Madam Plum? I guess that's her nickname

"Azalea, you're finally here.", a nurse comes to me and greet me.

" Yes, I have just got back from my part-time job. How's my sister doing?"

"Let's see here... Emily Brönte... here is the report for the week. Her condition isn't worsening but it isn't better either."

"I see... Thank you."

"Azalea are you sure you don't have relatives in Japan? It must be hard living by yourself."

"Yeah it is pretty tiring but after a while, I get used to it. Besides, Emily is here with me."

"You are such a great big sister Azalea. I wish you the best."

"Well thank you for always taking good care of my sister."

"Emily I'm here... Well, she's asleep... Weak heart rate... A failing heart disease. Please get better soon my little angel."

How did our life come to this...? Mom, Dad, I miss you. It's been a rough month since you're gone. It all started a month ago...
