2: Believe in Dreams

SPENCER POV

"Hey man, I'm at the airport right now," I said while fidgeting on the white sofa bed of my hotel room somewhere in Clark city. "But there's no need to get me, you know. Oh, and no need to tell Kai I'm here already."

I heard DK chuckled on the other line. "Hey man, just say it if you would like your baby bro to fetch you up there. What's with the attitude?"

"I'm serious yah know."

"Right. Like you always say the opposite of what you really meant. You never change, that's what I know. Anyway, wait for us there in a few, okay?" then the line got cut off.

"Serious-- ly" I said while pouting like a kid, "that's not what I meant.  Ni hindi man lang ako hinintay makapagsalita, damn!" Then I threw the phone on the nearby bed and closed my eyes.

I wondered, what would be Kai's reaction when we meet later today. I shivered at the thought. But anyway, I was ready to be punched on the face for all I care.

My vision was about to darken when my phone rang again. I forced myself to pick it up cause that sexy ringtone of Maroon 5 is for none other than my hot manager Trina.

"Hey gorgeous!" bati ko sa kanya in a sleepy yet seductive voice. "What's up?"

"Just called to say I already posted a short clip of Chronosphere on our social media account and told the fans you are looking for the singer. If that girl is really a fan of yours, she'll show up sooner or later. So you don't need to worry about that for now. I'll take care of it and you focus on Roger, okay?"

I can feel the loud beats of my heart as she gave me the news. Nabuhayan ako ng dugo, "Lovely! You are the best Trina baby!"

"I know right. Excited much?"

"You have no freakin' idea how excited I am!"

"Well, that ain't for free."

"I know. I'll fuck you good next time," I teased her. But I'm serious though.

"Bloody mary, you moron. I'm talking about the upcoming concert. Ohh, forget it let's just talk about this next time cause I gotta go."

Haha. Napikon yata. "No prob. See yah soon babe."

When she hang-up, nawala lahat ng antok at pagod ko. Pati yung takot ko kay Kai nawalang parang bula. Sobrang excited talaga akong makilala kung sino ba talaga ang may-ari ng mystery voice na iyon. I hope to meet her as soon as possible and tell her how much her song gave me strength for the past few days.

WREN POV

"Kalimutan niyo na ang tungkol sa video," pakiusap ko kila Tinacs at Jessa. Mahirap na at baka mabuking din na nakipagpustahan ako. Gusto ko lang talagang bigyan ng leksyon ang Wyclef boys. Salamat sa clueless kong pinsan, first day pa lang ng klase nabuking ko na agad ang tungkol sa plano nilang pustahan.

"Sige. Kung iyon talaga ang gusto mo, igagalang namin," sambit ni Tinacs na may kasama pang sign of the cross at cross my heart. "Na kay Akel nga pala ang SD card, pero huwag kang mag-alala, kakampi natin siya."
