Chapter 1

*Ring Ring*, the school bell rang. "class dismissed see you tomorrow." Mr.Clark said. i walked out of class heading straight for the exit all of a sudden i hear some one say "Lola wait up." i turned around and seen my best friend Miyah she's been my friend since 5th grade i feel like we're sisters now a bond that can never be broken. "my bad my-my i'm just so tired and most def ready for school to be over already." she laughed "girl me too, only 3 more days left." i stopped in mid-walk "actually about that my-my after tomorrow i'm not coming back" her jaw dropped she turned around and looked at me " you serious Lo you going to leave me here the last last 2 days of school by MYSELF!! " come on and lets's go before the buses leave, and i'm not leaving we don't have any classes together it's just lunch you won't see me its not a big deal ." she rolled her eyes " the big deal is that my best friend won't be here with me for lunch duh." we got on the bus and sat in our seat " okay okay fine i'll talk to my dad and see if i could come." i said.

As i was scrolling on my phone waiting for the bus to leave, Miyah tapped me on my arm and pointed out the window " look Lo there go Shug." she said in a flirty joking voice" i see him with his fine self ." i said laughing . Shug was a senior he wasn't every ones cup of tea but he surely was mine, and as good a it sounded of him being mine it def didn't work out that way. Back in the first semester me and Shug had health class together i'm a freshman i needed the class but for him it was just an extra credit. After a couple weeks in that class we became friends, he got my number and we texted a lot we would flirt at times too but there were some times where i thought he was joking about what he said to me. One day during last period we were walking in the hall together and we seen one of his friends in the hall too, his name was Nick but everybody call him Dodge. Shug daps up his friend, Dodge looked up at us and said "okay i see you bro." and started laughing. Sometimes i may over-think things so i thought they were at me, Shug said "yeah bro we talk" i looked over at him confused about what he just said so of course my dumb self had the nerve to say " no we don't". It was shocking his face was like damn, he wasn't mad but i could tell he felt some type of way. sitting here thinking about it i actually feel dumb because the only reason i said it was because i thought he was joking, i hate to admit it but i have a low self esteem sometimes because i'm not one of those twig looking girls i'm def what they call a BBW. I didn't ever think he was serious about what he said to me nobody ever was so i really screwed that up, i always talk about what i should've said like i should've sad " yeah we talk" and it could be happily ever.

"Lo , HELLO! HELLO! are you okay you're just staring out in space, we're here now come on so we can get off this bus. "My bad girl i was just thinking about something" i said, we got off the bus and started walking to Miyah's house i always stayed there it was like my second house away from home. We went upstairs to her room to avoid her siblings she has 3 brothers and 2 sisters and they all annoying but we still love them. She was my best friend and needed to know everything so of course she asked "Lo why you not coming to school anyway ?" " well My-My i'm moving" ? what am i going to do? its the end of the world, the end of man kind!" all i could do was look at her and laugh but i tried to stop her but she just kept babbling along " hey My-My , hello, stop talking for a sec" that didn't work so i yelled " YO SHUT UP!" and she stopped and turned around "WHAT!" " if you would have let me finish i'm moving in town not to another planet ding dong." she looked at me and smiled " oh okay my bad, you want something to eat?' we just looked at each other and busted out laughing " yeah i'm feeling pizza what about you?" i asked " omg pizza sounds amazing right now, i'm gonna go downstairs and order it" " okay while you're doing that i'm going to go take a shower" " good you stink anyway" she said laughing down the stairs" your brother likes it" i yelled out the door which i highly doubt he does but she just really hates when i talk about her older brother it's always my best comeback. After i got out the shower the pizza was here, so we watched netflix and ate pizza until we fell asleep.

THE NEXT DAY

School was going by so fast today it was already 11:30 time for second lunch which was the lunch me and miyah had together, it was the last 2 days of school which means every one was going to be hyped up. Me and Miyah met at the table and today our table was packed which is rare because the boys who usually sit with us have been bouncing from table to table, but today everybody was here. Our main group who consisted of Me (Lola), Miyah, Tommy AKA Tazz, Dre, Howard AKA Hades, Kai, and Janay it was gonna be a good day. All the boys had a rep somewhere i school Tazz was a gang bannger at heart, Dre was a rapper, Hades was a football player and wrestler, and Kai was just a goofball. " So why everybody want to come back to the table all of a sudden?"i said laughing. Tommy started laughing " Because i missed y'all" "This nigga Tazz gay" Dre shouted " Shut up you just mad cause he didn't miss you" i said laughing "You just saying that cause y'all like each other and you jealous" we started cracking up he wasn't lying though but i don't know about Tazz i'm not really sure if i can handle a gang banger cause they don't play and if you get the right one they was crazy too and Tazz was the right one but it was still funny "Well how about we just go get our lunch" Miyah said Janay winked at Miyah "nice cover up girl" . Miyah and Janay were the only ones who knew how i felt about Tazz but everybody thought we liked each other and we did but nobody needed to know that. When we came back to the table with our lunch the boys just had to start playing, they loved to rap and everyone loved when Tazz did his DMX impression it was hilarious cause he sounded just like him he was sitting there screaming "WHATTTTTTTT!!!!" barking like a dog talking bout "What these bitches want from a nigga"had us dying laughing he may have a thug but he was such a goofball.

15 Minutes Later

After a little while of us having fun one of the teachers walked up to me talking bout " Lola you have a early dismissal" my jaw dropped i just knew my dad wasn't picking me up just after he said i could stay all day since i'm not coming tomorrow. Everyone kept asking me "We thought you wasn't leaving" " I thought i wasn't but i guess he changed his mind,he probably just needs help moving the stuff into the new house." i said " Where y'all moving too" asked Dre " I hope its not too far" Tazz smirked at me "No i'm just moving in town to woodland village" Howard popped up "Yo you serious, what street?" we all looked at him like he was a psycho trying to figure out why he so hype " 12th street,why?" i asked he licked his lips looking me up and down, it was crazy everybody was so confused "I live on 6th street" he said "Okay Hades what's your point but why you looking at her like that" asked Janay "She'll find out" he just stared at me. I looked at my girls and we busted out laughing " Well i guess i better get going" i gave everyone hugs and went on my way. During the car ride home everybody was blowing me up about earlier

Group Message- Janay : did y'all see Tazz face when Hades was all in Lo face? Miyah: yea, why was Hades acting like that anyway? Lo what you think? but i was confused plus my phone was about to die so i didn't answer. We got to the new house and it was just so amazing it was so big it was 2 stories 4 bedrooms,4 1/2 bathrooms, a basement so big it could be a second house, with a big living room and kitchen this house just had me stuck. I started to my little sisters room first since she's 3 and has way less things than me, but while i was arranging her room i got to thinking about what Hades said and how Tazz was acting it made me realize this was truly going to be an interesting summer Lo & Tazz or Lo & Hades they really had me thinking i guess i'm gonna have to wait and see how the summer goes.
