She started crying as she told him everything. She clumsily gave him a hug to comfort herself, but never really been hugged, she was hugging awkwardly. Jeff fixed it, making it normal and hugged her back. She kept crying, afraid that her father will find her. Her birthmark started glowing white again, the back of her shirt tore as she sprouted wings again. It knocked over a side table that was close by, and broke the lamp that was on it. Jeff then heard the crash and jumped, startled at the sudden loud noise. He saw the white feather wings on her back. He backed up a bit, confused on why wings suddenly appeared. Shiver was also clearly confused, and slowly inched closer to her. Jackline picked up Shiver and held the fluffy dog close, calming down a bit. She surrounded herself and the dog in her wings, she felt safer. Jeff had no words for what his adopted daughter did. He then asked one question "can you actually fly with those?" She flapped them a few times, knocking over some more things in the process "Probably." She then remembered last time and realized that it was difficult for her. She didn't mention it though. "So you're saying you never sprouted wings before?" Jeffry asked. Jackline sat on the ground, staring at the floor "only once before, that was on the same night I ran away." Her wings slowly went away.
