Save me!

First Day of School

     Jake and I headed to our first class, Spanish. To avoid getting found out by any street fighters that may go to school here, I had put up the shy girl act which wasn't hard due to the fact that I was a mute. When we arrived Jake knocked on the door, we heard "come in" and entered the room, but not before we both smelled the air to see if there were other wolves in the class.

"My name is Mr. Grant you must be the Carson twins?" the teacher said

"Yes sir," Jake said wrapping an arm around my shoulders as I shrunk back in 'fear' as Mr. Grant stepped closer to us to greet us with a handshake.

                'Jake, I don't wanna shake his hand. I am not used to this many people.'  I signed to Jake making my hands shake, just in case anyone here was able to understand sign language, making it seem like I am truly frightened. I move my body behind Jake so it was hard to see me.

                  I then put my head down as he explained to the teacher my issue. My black hair fell in front of my left eye to hid my face from the students; I was very good at getting into the shy girl act that I am actually shutting out my badass side, so I am very much the opposite of my normal self. The teacher bought the lie and swiftly apologized. I looked at him shyly and smiled very slightly to say that it is fine.

"Would you like to share stuff about yourselves?" Mr. Grant asked

       "Sure," Jake said "Our mom is not with us,m she died when we were born. Our father is an NCIS agent. We do have some self-defense moves for our safety, um my sis Nikki is mute which means she can hear but doesn't talk. Oh, and my name is Jake, I am the older twin and very protective of Nikki, even though she can usually get out of trouble. Also, does anyone know sign language in here? If so that would be an easy way to communicate with Nikki."

 A girl with brown hair pulled up in a messy bun, with blue eyes that have dashes of green at times, dressed in a dull pink sweatshirt with black leggings and red Nike's with a white Nike symbol, raised her hand. I raised my eyebrow when she gave me the sign me and my friend, Thalia made up a while ago, but I haven't seen her in 3 years.

 I smiled brightly  'Hi how are you?' 

Thalia smiles back and says out loud while signing "I am doing good how are you?"

"Okay then sit down please so we can get back to class," Mr. Griffin said.

'Yes sir, sorry sir.' I signed and Jake translated for me.

Jake said, "Sure no prob."

 After the introductions, the class went normally and the same thing happened in all classes the only we only had to tell the teachers who we were because all of the students were the same surprisingly. 

LUNCHTIME

                   Thalia sits with us, which was nice to see a familiar face and she is a rouge like us. Oh, yea, by the way, did I mention that werewolf (well technically we're shifters), she informed us of other things that happened. We were near a pack border but on neutral land right now so we weren't very worried about pack trouble.

            After school, we were heading back to our little cabin when we smelt other rogues and a pack wolf so we looked around. What we saw was enough to push my wolf into protective mode. There were 5 rogue wolves were running with a pack wolf pup, I jumped in and snarled at the rogue holding the pup. Soon I had the scared pup behind me and my body separating the rogues and the pup. 

           Jake had reacted and shifted into his wolf, but instead of attacking head-on, he waited till I had gotten the pup away from them, then he attacked them from behind. Thalia was waiting as well and helped finish off the others. At that same time, the pack warriors had seen us save the pup. One of the packs' warriors went back behind a tree to shift.

"We are very grateful for your help. You have saved the Alpha's brother. How can we repay you for this achievement?" The warrior asks.

Jake, who had changed back as well, mind-linked me to ask my opinion.

 'What should we say?' he asks

 'Tell them; no thanks needed. We just saw the kid and wanted to help. We simply ask for no trouble. We are not going to cause their pack harm.' 

He nods his head and responds " There is really no need for thanks, or any reason to repay us, all we did was intervene when we saw a kid was in danger. Although we do ask that we do not get any trouble from your pack we mean you no harm. We will stay out of your way, even help you to protect your pack borders. If you would like but we will try not to cross your borders"

Then the pup gave me a lick on the cheek in thanks. I gave him a gentle nudge toward the warriors. At that moment my brother sniffs the air, whips his head around to stare at one of the warriors.

"MINE!!." He yells and races over toward the warrior. The warrior shifts and hugs him saying "Yes I am yours and you are mine."

 I smile then mind link him 'Wanna ask if we can join the pack so you can be with him?'

"YES!!!!" He yells out-loud startling everyone "Sorry...........um, would you mind letting us join the pack? Nikki, Thalia and myself?"

What do you think the reaction will be and is Thalia's or Nikki's mates in the pack as well?
