*After they left pallet town, satoshi and lara start heading to Virdian city*

Lara: *sighs* you see Eevee i told you my brothers a lot like dad *looks at Eevee* if your gonna catch one at least don't catch a ghost-type..... *has a huge fear of ghost-type pokémon and shivers*
*a wild pidgey appeard*
Lara: awwwww so cute!!!! *hearts in eyes*
Satoshi: woah a pidgey!!! *pulls out pokédex and points it at the little bird pokémon*
[Pokédex] Pidgey the tiny bird pokémon, pidgey fly up to 10 miles per hour and uses its sharp talons In order to catch prey
Satoshi: awsome!! Pikachu get ready, we're gonna catch that pidgey!!!
Lara: *sighs* brothers.... -_-
Satoshi: pikachu, go get'em!!!
Pikachu: pika!! *hops off shoulder and gets ready to battle*
Satoshi: alright pikachu tackle go!!!!
Pikachu: pika!! *uses tackle *
Pidgey: *squawks and flies up, dodges it and uses gust*
Satoshi: aaaaggghhhhhhh that's gust!!!! *covers eyes and holds down hat*
Lara: and a pretty powerful one!!! >~< *holds Eevee tightly and holds hat down*
Eevee: vee!!! >~< *clings onto lara*
Satoshi: *looks at a tree right next to pidgey and gets an idea* pikachu climb up that tree and use thundershock on pidgey!!!
Pikachu: pika! *nods and runs up the tree, jumps off and uses thunders shock on the wild pidgey* pikaachuuuu!!!!!!
Pidgey: *squawks loudly and falls down to the ground, feeling a little shocked* pid......pid......
Satoshi: *takes out pokéball and points it at pidgey* enjoy your last moments of freedom pidgey, because your mine!!!
Lara: *holds Eevee closely* I wonder if he'll even catch it....
Eevee: vee *licks paws*
Satoshi: Go Pokéball!!!!! *throws it at the little bird pokémon and watches it pull the pokémon inside*
*the pokéball shakes*
Satoshi: ............*clenched fist*
Lara: *watches* ..........
Pikachu: pika....*gets ready to battle*
Eevee: vee.....*nuzzles lara's arm*
Pidgey: *is caught*
Satoshi: *eyes widen and smiles brightly* YEAHHH!!!!! ^^ *jumps up with joy and runs to the pokéball, picks it up* I JUST CAUGHT MY VERY FIRST POKÉMON AND IT'S A PIDGEY!!!!! ^^
pikachu: pika!!! ^w^ *jumps up happily*
Lara: wow, he actually caught a pokémon! ^^ *holds Eevee close*
Eevee: eevee!! ^w^
Satoshi: pidgey come on out!! ^^ *let's pidgey out*
Pidgey: pidgeyyyyy!!! *flies around and lands on a rock gently*
Satoshi: pidgey, I'd like us to be good friends *smiles* and get strong together ^^
Pidgey: pidgey!!! *flaps wings*
Pikachu: pika!! ^w^ *wags tail*
Lara: *smiles and looks at eevee, pets her gently* we should get going to viridian city before it gets dark
Satoshi: yeah *stands up and smiles, puts on bag and felt pikachu get on shoulder* let's go!! *laughs and starts running*
Lara: hey no fair!!! *laughs and follows satoshi and pikachu, holding Eevee close*
Pidgey: *trills and flies ahead *
