I wake up falling on the floor, pain shooting up my body. I groan and sit up, to the right of me is Vita and Nari staring at me, they turn back to face the window and busy themselves, looking anywhere but at me. I turn to my right to see Adara sleeping snuggly in my spot. I yank the pillow from underneath Adara's head and hit her with it hard, she sits up quickly. A storm cloud of emotions crosses her face, most of them unknown to me, but I sure do recognize anger.

" what the hell is that for? Her voice is taut as stand up from the bed and face me. The auburn hair woman towered over me, her stare is intimidating, but not enough to scare me off.

"you push me off the bed. I am just returning the favor. " a small smirk plays my skin. It boiled Aithine's blood.

"Oh, my gods why are you so annoying?" wow Adara, for the future queen of ignis you sure need to expand your vocabulary.

"I'm annoying?" I will admit, my comeback isn't as extravagant as I wanted it to be.

"yeah, you are. I couldn't get one minute of sleep because of your snoring!"

"yeah? Well, at least I don't steal all the blankets in the middle of the night. You're a burner. The future queen of flames, aren't you always warm?"

"shouldn't you be used to the cold by now Nix? You would think since your heart is frozen you wouldn't have a problem with it. " don't let your anger get the best of you Nix. Breath in. Breath out. By this time my body is shaking with anger. It didn't take much to set me off. Especially when it comes to people like her.

"that's it." I go to swing at the tyrant with full force when the door to our adjoining room opens wide to reveal Calore and Fin.

"what the hell is going on?" Calore's voice is low and fills with annoyance. His eyes move back and forth between his sister and me. I wanted to explain what is going on, but words flew out of my mouth before I have a chance to stop it.

"Adara does been a pain in my ass all night. "

"Nix is just acting like a child." Adara's voice is strident.

"your both acting like children stop." Fin is the one to stop us from arguing. Adara holds her head high as she walks past me, shoving her shoulder against my own. I roll my eyes.

"Okay, now I've had enough." I grab Aithine by the hair and pull hard. She lets out a guttural scream. I didn't expect her to turn around and hit me hard against the head. I let go of her hair and stumble backward and hit the wall. Adara walks up to me and grabs me by my hair, throwing me to the floor and wrapping her hands around my neck. I let out a strangulated scream as she presses her thumbs into my carotid arteries. I can hear protest but the noise quickly fades out the longer I am being strangled.

"I'm so tired of shivers," Adara mutters to herself. I gasp in pain. I feel like my head is going to explode. It feels like I am being strangled for hours, it wasn't till I am seconds from passing out when someone finally pulled Aithine off of me. I fill my lungs with air, the feeling of bliss. I can hear faint yelling in the distance but everything is fuzzy. I go to speak but my voice is hoarse and strangled, I stand up and grab the wall, the room feel like it is spinning. I slam against the wall by a hard blow of the wind. I sink to the floor and sigh getting up one more time, leaning against the wall for support.

"what the hell is that for?" it hurt to talk, but I keep my composure as best as I can. Nari's face is dripping with anger and slight amusement.

"you're both being childish. It needs to end, or we can't stop them and our Kingdoms will fall to ruining. " Nari's eyes scan the crowd until they land on me, he may be quiet but his eyes say it all. I go to lunge at Nari, but the minute I let go of the wall I am falling. I close my eyes tightly, bracing for a fall. I reach out into empty air, hoping to grab onto something to stop my fall. Even though the fall isn't long because of my short height, but due to my dizziness, it feels like I am falling for miles. Though the feeling of a hard floor never greets me, big strong arms do, they wrap around my waist like a python. I gasp and snap my head up to be greeted by a pair of big, sapphire blue eyes. Due to my dizziness, they stand out in a world fading to darkness.
