Chapter 20 | Chase is here..

*KRISSY'S P.O.V*

"LEAVE ME ALONE FOR GOODNESS SAKE I DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT YOU WANTING HER BACK AND I DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT YOU EITHER! YOU DON'T DESERVE HER SO BACK THE SHIT OFF" I yelled.

So it was currently 8pm, we had all just finished playing an awesome game of laser skirmish (we won) and I was standing outside my hotel room. The other boys had gone inside 2 hours ago but I had gone for a walk and was just now walking back into the hotel when Alyssa's ex comes up to me and starts pleading me to convince her to take him back. And no way am I even gonna consider that.

Alyssa absolutely despises him now, after she caught him cheating on her with her sister. She had been a wreck for a whole month. And now, after 5 months of them being apart, here is the one and only, heartbreaker Chase, trying to get her back.

HE DID NOT DESERVE HER!

Alyssa was an honest person who would never lie unless something was deadly important. She was always kind and cheerful unless she had gotten really hurt, but it is true that Alyssa was very overly-dramatic.

"I need her" he sighed acting desperate, if I were stupid enough I would have believed him.

"DON'T EVEN TRY" I shouted flipping around and taking a step, about to storm off, when he yanked me back by my forearm. Our faces were literally 7 centimetres apart and he had a very furious look on his face.

"Listen here, you will get her to like me again or I'll do something really bad to you" he hissed

"I DARE YOU TO FREAKING TRY" I yelled once again.

And without a seconds hesitation Chase punched me on my cheek causing me to fall back.

Flashbacks of that one night kept flooding my brain. The way he punched me to the ground, the way I felt like I couldn't hold onto life anymore, the smell of alcohol in his breath, my blood staining the cement floor. It was a nightmare

I was extremely scared now.

Then, Luke suddenly ran out of his room followed by Michael, and stared at me with a panicked expression.

"Did you dare touch my Krista" Luke glared at him, stepping forward. He looked beyond angry.

I felt a single tear fall, the coldness of the tear stinging the blood near my eye.

Michael looked at my cheek, fury written all over his face, and in a flash leaped onto Chase and punched him in the nose.

Luke's eyes looked watery and I felt so bad knowing I may have been the reason for this. He stared at my eye then quickly helped me up and enveloped me in a big, comforting hug.

"Your alright, it's alright" he whispered, running his hand through my hair.

I sobbed into his shirt for about a minute but pulled away once I realised that Michael was still there.

I wiped my eyes and looked over to see Chase on the ground and Michael looking sympathetically at me.

"Let's go inside" Luke whispered in my ear as I nodded.

I quickly hugged Michael and thanked him, then followed Luke inside to our room.

We sat down on my bed and the atmosphere was silent for a minute before Luke spoke up.

"Was that Chase?"

I nodded my head and he sighed.

"Let's get you cleaned up" I smiled gratefully as he placed his hand on the small of my back, guiding me to the kitchen where the emergency supplies are.

I sat on the kitchen countertop and swung my legs, watching Luke rummage through the shelves.

He grabbed an antiseptic and then wrapped some ice into a cloth for my eye. Then he grinned at me and wiped the antiseptic onto my cheek, I flinched and he quickly pulled it back.

Looking at me for permission, I nodded, and he swiped it over my once bleeding cheek. Then he handed me the ice pack.

"Thank you" I whispered

We stared into one another's eyes for a few seconds before I remembered something "why did you say 'my Krissy' when you were talking to Chase?"

Luke's eyes widened slightly and he rubbed his neck "oh um, it's just that your my best friend and stuff and that's why I said why because technically your my best friend and- uh yeah" he mumbled causing me to smirk

He's so cute when he rambles on like that.

"WHY IS THERE A GUY SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR WITH A BLOODY NOSE" Niall burst through the door followed by Zayne and Louis

They looked at the icepack on my cheek and they're eyes went wide

"WHAT HAPPENED" they screamed simultaneously

Thankfully Luke answered for me "her best-friends ex is that guy on the floor. Uh, he found Kriss then tried getting her to make her best friend take him back from what I know. Then he punched Kriss and Michael dealt with him... Kriss, did he want anything from you other than Alyssa?"

"No, he just wanted me to make Alyssa like him again but no way in the world am I doing that"

"Okay"

"Damn, we've got to congratulate Mike on that, didn't know he and it in him" chuckled Niall in his amazing Irish accent

"You sure your okay Krissy?" Louis asked

"I'm fine, I have Luke here" I grinned

Louis, Zayne and Niall all smirked. EXACTLY LIKE THE OTHER 5 SOS GUYS OMFG

"HOW COME WHENEVER I MENTION LUKE EVERYONE SMIRKS OH MY GOSH" I exclaimed resting my head in my hands causing all the guys to laugh.

"Alright scoot you guys" I said slightly laughing and jumping off the counter to show them to the door.

"RUN" Louis screamed and ran out the door followed by Zayne and Niall, but they all needed up bumping into Calum.

"Ughhhh guuuuys" he groaned, walking past them

And over to the other side of the room where his bed was. He didn't even care about changing, he just laid down in his bed and instantly his eyes closed, 2 minutes later his soft snores could be heard.

"What if he comes back, what if he somehow gets into the room, oh my gosh no, what if he-" I started muttering to myself until I was interrupted by Luke

"Kriss, it's fine, I won't let anyone hurt you, I'm right here okay?"

"Okay..."

I walked into the bathroom and quickly changed into my black pyjamas then stared at my cheek in the mirror. It was a purplish blue colour but it wasn't too visible, although it was still visible.

I walked out and went to my bed sitting down on it and biting my nails. I couldn't help but stress about the fact that Chase might find me in this room and hurt me more.

"Luke..." I whispered, trying not to wake up Calum

"Yes" he said, walking over to me in only sweatpants.

"I'm scared" I sighed "What if he does come in"

Luke sighed and sat down next to me "no one will hurt you, I'll make sure of that, if anyone try's laying a finger on you I'll personally chop their finger off" he stared into my eyes, me doing the same

"C-could you stay with me t-tonight?" I stuttered

"I- sure" he said getting into the covers with me

He was so warm

I curled up into his side, his heat radiating off onto me. He put his arm around me and whispered "Goodnight Krista, sweet dreams" and before I knew it, I was fast asleep, safe in Luke's arms.
