After the ranger cut open the wolf and freed little red riding hood and grannie, they were so grateful to the ranger grannie asked him to stay for dinner, and of course her brave granddaughter stayed too. Grannie was an excellent cook, she made a tender piece of chicken breast for each of them, real Belgian fries and her famous apple sauce. After they ate everything and their tummy was full and round the sun was already behind the trees and the moon big and bright. Because it could be dangerous for the girl to go home alone the ranger came with her.

They thanked grannie for the delicious meal and left the house. Fortunately the forester had a lantern in his backpack. On their way through the woods they saw the big water well wich the wolf fell in and walked past the flowerbed Little red riding hood had been picking flowers but now she wouldn't, she'd learned from the past, even though the tulips were so beautiful. While they were walking miss riding hood noticed the lantern was dimming until after half an hour it went out. It was pitch dark now. They saw a pair of big eyes, and another pair and another, another,... the girl in red was so scared, and even though he tried not to, the ranger was too. Out of panic little red riding hood began panting and sweating but short by that she asked the ranger if he had a book or some other paper, he took his backpack off and took his survival kit and gave it to her. She also asked for a matchbox. When she had it all she kindled a match and set the book on fire. There was light. Now they understood whose eyes it where, the ranger whispered to miss riding hood she must calm down and calmly retreat. Of course there was such a panic inside both of them remaining calm was irrelevant now. So they ran and ran and ran as if their lives depended on it as it actually did. It was like the pack was growing, there came more and more. The hunter shouted to little red riding hood whose riding hood had fallen off: "This way!" He pulled miss riding hood towards a wooden cabin further in the forest but before they entered they hid behind the cabin and that was very cunning: the pack just passed them but after a while they realised they lost their prey so they stopped and looked around.

Meanwhile the dinner of the pack quietly entered the cabin. It was the ranger's cabin, full of useful equipment. While the hunter was packing some more stuff, little red riding hood was crying, she lost her red riding hood which she'd got from grannie years ago, it meant a lot to her. She told the ranger she needed to go back and retrieve it. But the ranger was angry, he shouted at her: "Do you know why they are following us? That were the kids of the big bad wolf! And they are not happy they lost their leader. If you come out they will eat you immediately! Is that what you want? Huh?" "But its my riding hood, my beautiful riding hood!" she answered half-crying. "You won't go.", the ranger told her and he began packing more stuff. But little red riding hood clearly didn't listen. She left the cabin with good attitude. And she ran back, quickly and quietly. The ranger recalled her but she won't listen she just went to her cap. But she clearly wasn't that quiet because one wolf heard her and rushed towards the girl. Little red riding hood just found her hood when the muzzle of the wolf was a few centimetres from her face. She grabbed her cap closely with her when...

She woke up and heard her mother say: "Sweetheart, can you bring some food to grannie?" It was just a dream.
