Fugaku

"Come here Itachi...... I want you to escort your mother to the leaf hospital and make sure that she doesn't face any problem" I said.. obviously in a way that made me revel my caring side.

"What?".... I said noticing Itachi grin.

"Nothing father, it's just that I haven't seen you the way you are now." Said Itachi. Yes I know being the Uchiha clan's head I don't reveal this side much often. But here am I ..... Unable to retain my excitement.

"Summon me at once if she is in trouble." I said, not wanting to extend the conversation.

I know I can trust Itachi for he is way more mature and responsible than children his age. I can't wait for the day when he will I could proudly shoulder him the responsibility of the clan.

But know it was the unborn child that made my stomach giggle. I was going to be a father.. yet again. But what do you think is more exciting than this?

"Fugaku! Are you inside?" Came a voice from the front entrance "We have got a clan meeting."

"Yeah I know. Carry on, I'll join you soon" said I, not wanting to leave until the news of the child arrive.

"You know we can't really start the meeting without you. Do you?" They sure were annoyed. I remained silent and heard them leave.

It was a bright morning. Too good to go for a meeting.

Ugh! No option

I left for the meeting.

I don't understand why, why to call a meeting every other day to discuss clan's status and relations with the village?

Madra Uchiha and The First Hokage, Hashirama Senju, did a great job setting up Konoha "The hidden leaf village". However Madra did try to bring an uprise from within the clan to break ties with the leaf, but The First handled it pretty well.

However some still feel they are treated unequally. I don't get what more do they want.

"Poor me!" I sighed as I walked along the street towards the decided venue.

Itachi

Woah! Father was different today. All the other time there is something serious about his expression. But today they were totally different

"Careful!" Mother was just about to trip. I can't let her get hurt. Not that she can't handle the pain, but more of she can't afford to get hurt. Not with my little brother in there...... Or sister.. how does it matter?

"I am fine" said mother with her sweet voice as ever. I don't know how she managed to bring out that sweet voice when she's going through all that pain.

"Do you want father to be around?" I asked

"No don't worry..... He'll probably be in some or the other meeting of his" answered mother, trying not to sound sad.

She knew father was the head, and that this means he has a lot to do. But she was sad not to have him spend time with us.

We reached at the hospital. Leaf's logo was shining at the top of the building. It was just the empty ground that was between us and the main building. It wouldn't have taken even a minute to cross it, had I been running right now.

However the current me accompanying my mother had a systematic pace according to her comfort that lead us to reach the other end taking more than 5 minutes.

A nurse spotted us and helped mother to enter a room. I wasn't allowed in, so I sat on the bench....... Excited....worried..... Happy......... And many more emotions waging war as to which emotion wins and gets to be reflected on my face.

That's how it works.. isn't it?

Minato

"Lord third, all the anbu (high rank ninja) are in position...... I'll be leaving soon"

"Yes Minato. Being the Fourth Hokage, you need to protect Kushina during childbirth....... It is the time when the seal weakens" said lord third

Khushina Usumaki (my wife) was the bearer of the "Nine tailed fox" inside of her. From the starting..... The nine tails was passed from one generation to another. The last bearer was also an Usumaki.

Usumaki have large chakra reserves, so does Khushina. Till now the seal that held the nine tails demon spirit was strong, but any seal would weaken during childbirth...... The chakra that holds the seal is diverted.

Kushina was already taken to a secret location. I was heading in that direction with my trusted anbu.

The people who want to control the fox for there use would be well aware that this time would come.

"Hurry up boys!" I said sounding restless

When we reached there....

Itachi

"It's a boy!".... Said the nurse coming towards me

I was excited about it... I was going to be a big brother.... No I am a big brother now

"You may go in if you want" she continued.

Oh yeah why wouldn't I want to. I nodded and went inside. I saw my little brother wrapped up in clothes and my mother laying besides him.

"Can I hold him?"

"Yeah why not?... Just be careful." Answered the nurse before my mother could say something.

That was a wonderful feeling.... A little life in my hands... Will I be able to become a good big brother?

"I know you will be" said mother as if she could hear what's in my mind... No she literally knew what's up in my head.

"I'll try"... I know I will

We headed home after my mother was discharged. We met the wife of the fourth on our way back home. She also had a little life inside of her...... I guess she was heading hospital too.

However there were some people with masks that accompanied her. All of them were in black... But I knew that had all the kunais and shuriken ready under the coat...... Security reasons.. maybe

When we reached home, I was given the charge of taking care of Sasuke....... Yeah that is his name..... Well I was given my first chance as a big brother... Will it go well?

I asked myself looking towards Sasuke... He had big eyes and was really cute ...... As if he resembled mother.

It was evening soon and I was sitting in the garden crouch holding Sasuke.

I sense something... This is bad

I took Sasuke inside. Suddenly the house started shaking... I was holding Sasuke but then he started crying...

"There there Sasuke, I know it scared you" I said trying to calm him down.

I ran out of the house to see what triggered it..... Sasuke accompanying me in my evey act....  as no one was home that  time ............Just then a large rock came flying over me and ...... boom ..... my house was gone.... I was relieved that I didn't leave Sasuke behind to check out the matter.

"It's him! Run! Towards the shelter" said someone trying to dodge the flying debris. It was then I saw a large figure at a distance.....it surely was him....
