"Amara! Please wait up!" Yori called over to Amara, who was walking along through the trees, weaving through them easily. It'd been two hours since Amara had been on Cross Academy grounds and both Yori and Yuuki had been unsuccessfully trying to get Amara to have her meeting with The headmaster of the school, like all new students do. However Amara could be less then understanding when it came to human formalities. Amara was in a playful mood though and giggled back over her shoulder.

"If you can catch me, I'll go see the headmaster!" She called over her shoulder and weaved through more trees, laughing at Yori's obvious distress. Yori wasn't the kind of girl to get distressed easily, but it was her responsibility to watch over the free spirited and rather anti-social Amara and she wanted to help the girl, despite her obvious dislike of well, everyone. Yori was determined to get the girl to accept Cross Academy. Two weeks Amara had stayed with her family and she'd only gotten her to become a little bit kinder, and it was morely her just not making a snarky remark to everything she said. It was like Amara didn't care what happened or who she angered, she just did what she wanted. Although Yori found it admirable that Amara didn't care what others thought, she also found it a bit irritating.

Yori has never had to worry about anyone as much as she worried about Amara since Yuuki. "Amara! Please?" Yori called breathlessly, getting tired after all of the chasing. Despite being weak and new to walking, the girl was unfairly quick. Her plea only earned her a laugh on Amara's part.

Amara laughed as she skipped through the trees. When stil in the ocean and having her tail, Amara loved to mess with the humans, but usually her hunger for a heart defeated her wish to play and tease them and so it wasn't often she messed with them. Now that she had legs, it was much easier, and much more fun to mess with them. Admittedly, over the two weeks Amara had stayed with Yori she'd beome a little nicer to the girl, actually liking her. She was quiet and observant and mostly calm save for when she was worrying about Amara or Yuuki. And she genuiely cared about Amara, which Amara thought was cute. Did Amara care about the girl? That was a big no. But did she like her at least a little? A solid maybe.

Amara turned to shout back at Yori, not seeing the silver haired boy sitting underneath a tree right in front of her and managed to trip over him, falling rather ungracefully and eating dirt.

"Ooph."She grunted, using her hands to prop herself up from the ground and turned to see what she had tripped over. She saw the silver haired boy, his eyes now glaring down at her with deep lilac eyes and Amara smiled seductively. Even just looking at him made her hunger for his scarred heart burn in the pit of her stomach. She sat her chin upon her fist and stared at him like he was a tasty treat, which in her mind, he was. Or well, his heart was.

"I'm sorry. I didn't see you." Amara said, feigning concern. He scoffed and looked away from her, unaffected by the charm she was displaying. Amara frowned. That was odd. Amara  had never seen a human boy not fall in love with her the second he looked at her. And she was even using a little mermaid charm, and he stil didn't even look at her. Not really anyway. Not the way other boys have looked at her. He stood up and turned to glare at her, making her gasp. That was new. Sure Hanabusa and other boys from the Night class were able to glare at her, but that was only because they were supernatural beings and had seen Amara's darker, meaner side. Amara tried to stand but found she had slightly twisted her ankle, to which was incredibly frustrating.

Amara had never had to deal with somthing so trivial before. A twisted ankle! How stupid. The only things that could go through Amara's mind. Despite the pain coming from her ankle and her legs protesting, she stood up and stood tall, refusing to show weakness. After all, it wasn't in a mermaids nature to be weak.

"Who are you anyway? A new Night class student?" He said, voice void of emotion but there was a deeper venom behind every word that Amara had never heard before. He surely was a peculiarity to her.
