I suggested neuro-pressure to help Commander Tucker sleep. It is quite an intimate procedure only used when the two parties are mated/married. I believed the Commanders would eventually agree to it due to the circumstances. It worked with a 'tel' forming between the two of them. A 'tel' is a marriage or mating bond. They are only created when two people share a mutual attraction for each other. There is no point skirting the subject. The Commanders love each other. They also weren't afraid to save each other. The bond is something that can just be dismissed or denoted as fraud. Most bonds are only formed because of betrothal at a young age. This was formed without a priest, without a betrothal and without inhibition. There are no secrets between the Commanders now. All the fears of what would happen no longer exist.
