Remember (A 1D Love Story)

Chapter 1: Third Grade

Hi eveybody! My name is Aria Chesler I'm 8 years old! I'm in 3rd grade and have 2 REALLY good friends. One of my friends names is Mary my other friends name is Louis. We do EVERYTHING together! Now to the story! :)

***park***

"NO! OVER HERE!" Mary shouts.

Louis and I run over to where she is sitting. We are at the park and we are burying our treasure. Our moms don't know though...they're sitting on the bench talking about our dads.

"Wait! How deep?" I ask them.

"To the other side of the earth!" Louis exlaims.

"Thats not possible. Well it is but not unless you have a drill." Mary says. She really smart even though we are only in third grade she beat the game "Are You Smarter Then A Fifth Grader" like 4 times. She's a genius!

Louis runs over to our moms.

"Can I have a drill?" He askes.

"Why would you want a drill?" Mrs. Tomlinson exlcaims.

"No reason. I just need one..." Louis hesitates, "can I have a shovel then?"

"Very well but when we get it you be careful!" Mrs. Tomlinson agrees. Louis comes back to our spot and says, "We should come back tomorrow after school and bury them. Don't forget to bring a ruler Aria!"

I blush, "I won't!" Thing is I tend to forget things soon after they happen.

"Okay here after school. 3:30?" Mary askes.

"Three-thirty's good" Me and Louis say simultaneously. We mark the spot and go on our seperate ways.

***2 hours later***

We are sitting around the dinner table, having...dinner. My older sister Caroline (shes 11) goes on and on about the middle school.

"Since it was our first day the teachers made us talk about wht we did over the summer. I talked about our big trip to America!" She went on and on about everybody else and how her cell phone now has almost 50 contacts. She is so weird. She counts the contacts on her phone like I count the songs that Louis can sing perfectly.

Yes, Louis is a singer, well he takes lessons. He says he doesnt like to sing but Mary and I both agree he is amazing!

Since it's still warm my mom agreed to take me to the park tomorrow to see Louis and Mary so we can bury out treasure. It's not gold or diamonds or anything expensive but its our braclets the we made for each other. Mary made mine, I made Louis' and Louis made Mary's.

"So when do you want to leave for the park tomorrow." Mom askes pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Is it okay if we leave at 3:25?" I ask. It's a five minute walk and I really want to be there on time.

"Okay, but you have to walk home from school with Caroline because I'm coming home at 3:20." Moms says. I groan inwardly. Caroline always walks with her friends. They are loud and annoying exept for one of the boys. His name is Liam and he is really nice to me. He also sings, like Louis. Caroline is annoyed because she likes him and he is moving away from here after this year. I guess it'll be good to walk with him a couple times before he goes. I really like him cause he is the only one of Caroline's friends that are nice to me.

***The next day at school***

***recess***

"Remember to bring the ruler and we all can't forget our braclets." Louis says when we see each other on the playground.

"I won't forget, but will Aria?" Mary says truthfully.

"I remember!" I exclaim. 'Well at least I remembered about bringing braclet...' I think to myself.

***after school***

The walk home wasn't that bad. I just tried to stay to the back. Liam would be nice and include me in some of the conversations, but I didn't really care about what they were talking about. Mom walked with me to the park and when i got there I walked to where we marked the spot, and saw Mary waiting for me and Louis.

"What time is it?" I ask Mary.

"3:32 excatly."

"Well lets wait a little for Louis since he has the shovel." A minute later Louis came carrying a shovel in one hand a ruler in the other and on his wrist was the braclet that said "Louis" with a little star next to his name. Mine said Aria with a heart and Mary's said Mary (obviously) and had a diamond shape next to her name.

"I was supposed to bring a ruler though..." I wonder. I had remembered to bring it.

"I wanted to make sure we would have a ruler." Louis said honestly

"I brought one too, just in case!" Mary exclaimed.

"Wow! I trust you guys too!" I say sarcasticly.

"Well now we can make sure it's one foot deep, one foot wide, and one foot long." Louis suggested.

***an hour later***

"Ahhhhh finally!" Mary panted.

"YES! IT'S DONE!" Louis and I jump around like hyper first graders.

"How are you guys not exausted?" Mary asked incredulusly. She was panting and lying on the grass behind the tree where we were.

"I swear I didn't have any sugar today!" I protest.

"I might have had some carrot cake...like 3 or 4 pieces..." Louis said queitly knowing Mary wouldn't be happy he ate carrots without her. They share a love for carrots.

We buried our braclets said a few words and Louis put a finger to his mouth to sush both of us. He then took out a small pocket knife (the kind with different tools) and carved into the tree M+A+L=BFF's with a diamond under the "M" a heart under the "A" a star under the "L" and a star in a diamond in a heart under the "BFF's". It was sloppy but thats why we all liked it.

"Friends" I said.

"When-ever" Mary said.

"Where-ever" Louis said.

"Forever" We said together.

And thats how I will never for get Louis Tomlinson and Mary Delany...when-ever, where-ever, and forever.
