I walk downstairs lazily and walk into the kitchen where Adam and Dad are sitting at the table eating breakfast.
"Hey Sadie." Dad greets and I just grumble a response before opening the freezer. I pull out a bucket of Neapolitan ice cream, grab a metal spoon and sit next to Adam at the table. I take off the lid and scoop some ice cream up and put it in my mouth as they watch me.
"Sadie, you can't have ice cream for breakfast." Dad frowns.
"Yes I can."
"It's not healthy."
"Whatever. It's my body and I'll do what I want with it." He sighs.
"It's been two weeks Sadie." Adam mutters.
"It has?" I ask confused.
"All you've been doing is laying in your bed watching Pretty Little Liars and eating bread. Just plain bread with nothing on it. You can't even see your floor because there's so many tissues on it. Your hair is in knots, that's going to be really hard to get out. And you haven't left your room at all except to go to the bathroom or come get more bread or eat ice cream." He explains.
"So?" I shrug, not seeing his point.
"So, you need to snap out of it."
"I'm good." I take another bite of ice cream.
Suddenly, Adam rises, pulls me up out of my chair and drags me to my room.
"Ow! Adam!" I scream.
"Why couldn't you just brush your hair?" He growls.
"Because I- oww!"
"Sorry." He mutters. He pulls the hairbrush through my hair one more time and I scream as it almost pulls my entire scalp off.
"Ok, I give up. I can't do this. You just need to get that cut."
"No. Not my hair!" I gasp, clutching onto my knotted brown hair. He stares at me for a minute, thoughtfully. What is he thinking?
"See? That wasn't so bad, was it?" Adam asks as he pulls me out of the hair salon. I got my hair out of its knots and I also got it trimmed.
"No. But I don't want to be anywhere but my bedroom." I admit. Adam chuckles.
"Well too bad."
My black sunglasses start falling off my face so I fix them. "Thanks for buying me these sunglasses." I smile. Adam looks over at me, rolling his eyes.
"I didn't. You stole them."
"I did?"
"Yes."
"Cool." I grin.
"Where are we going?" I inquire as we drive somewhere I don't recognize.
"Somewhere," is all he says.
"Whats at somewhere?"
"Something."
"Whats something for?"
"You."
"Why?"
"You'll see." I can hear the smirk in his voice.
We pull up to a familiar house and get out. "Whats this place-" I stop talking when I see the beautiful angel in front of me.
I run over to it with my arms out and embrace it. "I missed you so much!" I am so so so sorry I haven't come to get you. It's not that I didn't want to, I did. It's just where you're at." I say petting the seat. I hear Adam laugh behind me
"Shut up Adam. Can't you see I'm reuniting with my best friend?" I growl, gesturing towards my bike and he nods. I swing my leg over and sit on it, placing my hands on the handles.
"Adam? Sadie?" I hear and Adam and I both turn around.
