Prolouge

"Now, switch your tassels from the left to your right.... Now, GIVE A HAND TO THE CLASS OF 2018!"

"Kendall! You have to leave for college!" I was knocked out of my dream and fell off my bed. Today is the day I've been waiting for since I was 11! And it's finally coming true; I'm going to college! I looked at my sweater in the mirror that I wore to bed, it has the place I've been dreaming to go to college for! The University of Florida, the home of the gators.

I smiled and ran into the bathroom to shower. I shaved with my disposable shaver, because I packed everything else, and my moms shampoo, conditioner, and soap. I got out of the shower and put on my navy blue long sleeved vineyard vines shirt with the vineyard vines whale covering the back with vineyard vines pin striped shorts. I put on navy blue vans to go with it and blow-dried my hair. I pinned my hair back with a bobby pin and brushed my teeth.

I put my tooth brush in my toiletries bag and headed downstairs and ate breakfast with my family. I saw my mom teary as I finished and my dad was my bags by the door. "Mom don't cry." I opened my arms for her and she cried in them as I chuckled. "This is usually the other way around," I stated explaining my self. I got her to laugh and she pulled away wiping her tears.

My older, Jace, brother got his bags downstairs too. Did I forget to tell you? We both go to the same college, but he's a junior, so he lives in a house with his friends. We hugged our parents good bye and I tried cheering my little sister up by telling her she could have my room when I'm away. She got happy quickly but was still upset. She's only in first grade, so she's kinda bipolar.

Jace and I walked out the house waving goodbye, heading to college, my new life.
