Pen and ink, a tool to some.
A sword and shield to some.
---
Write a death sentence,
or write a birth certificate.
---
A pen, the hands of a skilled sculptor, shaping and molding.
Ink, the stone of the sculptor's collection, malleable and shapeable.
---
Nations born, bombs dropped, and wars waged.
A pen and ink is a tool of which to be wary.
---
Families ripped apart and sliced.
Families put together and spliced.
---
Love can be made with writings,
and love can be destroyed with writings.
---
A pen, the shield, protecting those who wield,
and the ink, the sword, attacking those who field,
---
hatred and strife.
May the pen and ink, usable as the hands, be part of your life.
---
The pen, like a whip, exciting and urging even the most stubborn.
The ink, like a cloak, protecting and hiding someone, within borne.
---
The pen and ink will always stand tall and proud,
even through replacement with tools of crowd.
