it was the usual morning filled with joyness and the rich flavor of food from the cafe.
i recently opened a small cafe in the street of france. and it was going pretty well, i also get to make friends with many people who came here. i also made friends with the guy who owns a salon named after his name 'hairy styles' but his name used double 'r' and without an 'i'. i also get to know this lovely girl my age around 21 who also owns a tailor, who also store named after her name swift's tailleur while her name is taylor swift. ironic. i know.
but hey! im no one to judge because my cafe is called alicia's café. anyway let me tell you a little about me, my name is alicia jules and im half britain and half french. i just moved from england so i can live with my grandmère here and start a new journey, i want this, even my mother begged me to stay there but i refuse because its just.. so blank there. here i feel like i found my joy in life again. i followed my passion and opened a café which is a great step because it is successful so far.
my father, norman jules work as a CEO at the andrea industry, while my mother, andrea jules is a famous designer of the brand 'jules's' and finally, my older sister, julia jules, the golden child my dad was so proud of, she's kind but sometimes shes just... such a brat, oh have i told you that she's an actress? yeah, that's probably why my dad adores her so much that he didn't care if i go to france. im always a mommy's girl so well, i didn't really care about my dad either so...
my only best friend is my grandmère and my mother. but lets just hope that'll change soon because i just met some new friends i mentioned earlier and i hope that we'll become more closer.
after i graduate and took my master degree in oxford i quickly book the ticket to france and fly right away after saying goodbye's to my family. you must be wondering where i got my money from, I didn't ask my parent neither my sister for money i actually earn the money by my own. so one day, me and my friends went go for a trip to the isle of wight and we were staying there for one week. on the third day we went to go to a beach to went surfing and that is when some cutie named jack if i remember came to me ask for me to be in a pretty branded swimming suit commercial and said that i'll get some pretty big coins. so i guess why not right?
and it was worth it. though he could easily get my sister's double D's to do the photoshoot but hey, they picked my C cup instead! it was fun though, to do the commercials and maybe without it i won't be here and my parents won't buy me the ticket to france.
the bell to my café rings as someone enters, an old lady with a 9 year old lovely boy, holding hands. I smiled at them as them as they got closer, looking at the menu i wrote in the chalkboard behind me, they smile back.
"grand-mère, qu'est-ce qu'un ramen?" grandma, what is a ramen? i heard the boy asked as the grandma replied,
"c'est une nouille japonaise, chérie. Je me souviens de le manger quand j'étais un peu, le meilleur plat que j'ai jamais eu." it's a Japanese noodle, dear. I remember eating it when I was a little, the best dish I've ever had.
"Est-ce-que je peux en avoir un š'il vous plaît?" can i have one please?
"Bien sûr chérie, je peux avoir deux ramen s'il te plait? faire un épicé." of course dear, may i have two ramen please? make one spicy.
"Bien sur madame," of couse ma'am. I replied as they smiled at me as i walk to the kitchen quickly making them ramen, one spicy and one not, got it.
it was five minutes after i finally done making their orders as i ran back to the cashier and handing the lady her order. "c'est sur moi, madame pas besoin de payer, c'est votre première visite après tout." its on me ma'am, no need to pay, its your first visit after all.
"tu vous êtes une fille charmante, merci beaucoup, je ferai en sorte de vous rembourser." you are such a charming girl, thank you so much, i will make sure to pay you back.
"ce n'est pas nécessaire, " it's not necessary, i said making them smile as they sat at their table enjoying their meals with smiles on their faces.
AN: woah, how was that? are you guys excited because i am!! francesca hung plays alicia jules btw ik shes not french or britain but whatever! y'all can imagine her as you'd like tho.
