Chapter 12

Lily's POV

I saw Crystal, honestly I really didn't care anymore.

That's it, the girl who used to care, doesn't care anymore. I'm just tiring of caring for people when they can't even care for me. So what's the point. I sat down next to Jazzy, Bree, Carla, and the most popular one Brittany.

"What the hell? Haha you are so bad at style" Brittany said.

"Why don't you help me then?" I fired back, that was a really bad comeback.

"I help NO ONE! But if you want to hang out with us, you need to look good. What your wearing is just ew!"

"Oh, okay well can I come over or something?" I asked.

"I guess so" she said as she rolled her eyes.

She's so annoying but I want to show Crystal that I'm doing fine without her. I feel kinda sorry for her, she is lonely.

At least she knows how I feel. After school I went to my locker, packed my homework, and left with Brittany and her friends. Woah she actually goes home and to school in a pink limousine! That's just weird, but so cool! I hopped in and sat on the luxury white seats.

"Your so lucky" I said cheerfully.

"I am, wait till you see my room" Brittany said.

We arrived at the house, it was like a mansion actually. My mouth was literally wide open, and Brittany laughed at my reaction. We walked towards the door, and her house was all pink. We walked up the stairs, I'm not surprised that they're pink as well.

As soon as she opened the door, I literally squealed.

Brittany gave me a weird look, yeah I overreact too much.

"Let's just get this over and done with and then you can get out of my house" Brittany said.

That was kind of mean, but I just ignore her and sit on the ground, I didn't think she would allow me to sit on her fancy couches.

"Okay, so let's dye your hair...BLUE! Sections of blue and blonde!" Brittany exclaimed.

"Oh um, I don't think my parents would like that" I said, I didn't want anyone to know that I'm in a foster family especially Brittany!

"Uh, your parents shouldn't tell you how you style your hair, you do what you want!"

"Anyways...Do you even know how to dye hair?" I asked.

Ugh what's wrong with my stupid never ending questions?!

"Sit on that chair and let's get started" Brittany ordered.

I sat on the wooden chair, as her friends watched, I had no idea what she was doing but it better be good!

After a while I looked in the mirror and I was really impressed actually.

"Thank you so much!" I squealed and rushed to hug her. She pulled me away, and I can tell she didn't like hugs.

"Okay...Just don't touch me!" She yelled.

"Oh okay, anyways thanks, so what should I wear?"

"Uh, you expect me to do your hair and help you choose an outfit? Um no, you can figure that out yourself!"

"Oh, thanks for the hair, I'll get going now...bye" I said and walked off.

Jazzy ran after me, and took my hand.

"Come over my house and I'll help you, Brittany can be so mean at times, but I'll help you" Jazzy said.

"Thanks for that" I replied.

"No problem, you can come over now I was just leaving too"

"Okay, let's get going, but my parents don't know I'm coming over your house" .

"You can use my phone" she said as handing me the phone.

I called my parents and went with Jazzy to her house.

Her house wasn't as big as Brittany's, but that really doesn't matter.

"Okay, so you might want to wear a cute crop too, and a skirt, with converse shoes!" Jazzy said.

Jazzy gave me the clothes and went out of the room for me to change. I was finally done and looked in the mirror. Jazzy walked in and said

"Oh my gosh, I must say I did a good job."

"Thanks, really thank you, but am I pretty?" I don't know why I asked that.

"Of course you are, you don't need makeup, put a big bright smile and you will be fine, don't take mirrors too seriously you true reflection is in you heart" Jazzy said.

"Thanks Jazzy, I should go now, but thank you for everything"

As I went out the door, Jazzy said

"Lily...You should talk to Crystal tomorrow"

"Maybe, bye Jazzy!"

I don't know what Crystal will think of me, she is sweet, beautiful, and looks so fragile, but I'm just a rock and roll mess!

We will soon find out tomorrow...
