MARIA'S POV
I couldn't wait! It was 9:45 and Hana would be here soon! I had made some biscutes, I had made a cake, I cleaned up my room. Hana was helping me with every thing else. Was there any thing else? I hope not. I looked down at my wrist to get the time but my new watch wasn't there. I rushed into my room and slipped my watch on. As a walked out the door a quickly checked my appearance on the mirror. My reflection smiled at me, a slight gasp escaped my lips. Was was I seeing? My reflection doing things I wasn't? I was going mad. I turned away from it and looked back but just to check I wasn't going mad but to my horro, my reflection, my own reflection beaconed me closer. This time a stream erupted from my mouth. How could my reflection do things I wasn't? I felt faint, oh so faint. I felt myself fall...... Then blackness that followed.
HANA'S POV
I pulled up outside Maria's house, I was a bit early but I was so excited. I said a quick good bye to mum and bounded up the steps. I wanted to barge in, but I would be polite, so I knocked. Nothing came so I simply pushed open the door and dumped my stuff.
"Maria?" I called, wondering were every one was. No one answered.
"Mar........." I tried again but I was cut off by a blood chilling scream. That could only be Maria. I was slightly creeped out now, but I walked to Maria's room and pushed the door open gently.
"Maria?" I began gently, but as soon as I could see the scene in the room, I gasped.
"Matia! Maria!" I called ergently. Maria was pale, pale as snow. I placed my hand against her cheek, she was cold too.
"Maria, are you ok?" I called again.
"What?" She mumbled "what? Oh yeah I'm fine. Hi." She replied, I knew she thought I might not notice it, but I could tell she was a little fritened.
"Your pale." I declared.
"No, I'm fine." I knew she wasn't but I let it go.
"What happened?"
"Um........"she started, "you'll think I'm mad if I tell you."
"No! Not at all! Tell me." From the way she looked at me I could tell she didn't want to tell me, but I was going to get it out of her.
"Well.... It was the mirror" she said, indicating to the mirror, it was beutiful. she looked at it like it was a monster, so I could guess the mirror had done something.
"What about it?" I ventured further, I knew shed rather not tell me but I wanted to know.
"Uh........." She began, she sighed "ok, well I was looking at my self in the mirror then the reflection was doing things I wasn't." She turned away, obviously she hadn't wanted to tell me. That was wierd, was she saying that her reflection was doing things she wasn't?
"So your reflection was doing things that you weren't? Say your reflection smiled and you didn't?"
"Um, yeah. That sort if stuff." Maria shifted uncomfortably on the edge of the bed. "Do you think I'm going mad?" She finally blurted out.
"Course no." I told her calmy. That wasn't the honest truth, I didn't know what I though about it all, but I knew Maria wouldn't make up something like that just for the fun. And besides, she had fainted.
"What is it then? Am I curesed?!"
"I'm not sure. It'll pass. Don't worry. How about we go see pup?" I asked, trying to get her was at from this odd topic.
"Yeah, ok." I could see colour starting to return to her face.
"Oh yeah! I just remembered!" I said excitedly.
"What?" Maria asked as she turned around to face me.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed with joy and I flung my arms around her.
