"And I think the first sign you notice when you begin to gain feelings towards a person,
Is just how easily you get jealous when they give others the attention which you crave."
Alya's P.O.V.
The moment Liam took the last, right turn that led to my place; I was appalled to see the paparazzi, crowded outside the gate of my house. "What the hell? What are they doing here?" I stated aloud.
"I suppose they think we are dating--" Liam started off, hitting the brakes at a distance from my house and I met his gaze as he continued speaking, "and tonight, they'll be getting more pictures of us hanging out together." His tone hinted at sarcasm. "Why don't we just confirm it already, huh?" He smirked, winking at me.
"Shut up, Liam," I said, rolling my eyes at him and glanced in the direction where the papz were standing.
"Why do you get so nervous around them, babe?" Liam's tender voice fell in my ears and he sounded concerned then. Meeting his eyes, I shrugged my shoulders in response.
"I don't know," I said, passing him a tight-lipped smile and he shook his head in return, seeming amused. "Help me in getting inside, please." I requested him, pulling my best puppy face and he let out a small laugh in response.
"Emotional blackmailing much?" He sneered at me, chuckling at his words. I pouted, batting my eyelashes at him a few times and mouthed 'please'. Shaking his head in return, he let out a half-laugh. "Christ! Such a drama queen, you are." He commented in a teasing way. "Tell me how the fuck is anyone supposed to say no to that adorable face?" A small smile slowly crept on his face and I continued with my acting. "Alright, fine!" He said, letting out a chuckle.
"You are the best!" I remarked, passing him a wide smile and he rolled his eyes at me as he continued chuckling.
In the next second, he shifted in his seat and turned around a little before reaching for something in the back seat of the car. "Here," He said, pulling out a sweatshirt from behind and held it out for me as he continued talking. "Wear this first." Passing him a small smile, I took it from his hand and quickly wore it over my dress.
Liam started to drive again and I pulled the hoodie over my head, which covered almost the whole of my face; my hands hidden under its sleeves since the sweatshirt was too big for me. It felt too warm and cuddly, though. I could even smell the peculiar scent of Liam, coming from his sweatshirt. I love it.
Hitting the brakes, Liam finally stopped the car outside the gate of my house and got out. Quickly, he walked around the other side to open the door for me and the moment I stepped out; he placed his right hand on the small of my back. As we made the way through the crowd of paparazzi, who were like five or six in number; they started flashing the camera lights at us, clicking a hell of a lot of pictures and threw every kind of weird possible question in our faces.
The guard of my house drove those people away and helped us in getting inside the main gate. Quickly, reaching for the door, I unlocked it and after Liam and I got in the house; I locked it from the inside again. Walking across the lobby, both of us shared an amused laugh, finally taking the seat on the couch.
"Damn! These paparazzi people are unreal." I commented aloud, chuckling at my own words. "How are these guys so full of energy at all hours of the day?" I said, shaking my head repeatedly.
"Yeah, they sometimes get on the nerves," Liam spoke from my right side and I glanced at him, only to find him already looking at me.
"Sometimes?" I repeated after him and let out a half-laugh, rolling my eyes in return. "That's an understatement!" I commented in an amused tone.
