I THE SLAVE

In shackles and chains,
I shuffle and drain
In the horizon, the sun blinks it's last,
Another night will I last.

Whip in hand,
The caravan he leads across the last,
Freedom just a concept,
Forgotten like a debt.

Our thoughts constrained,
Free will so faint,
Who will deliver us from this pain,
With all our Messiah's
