Sleepover

Eli had to walk back home so he could get some stuff before he spends the night. Luckily, he lives around the corner.

Once he came back, we went back upstairs so he could put his bags there.

When we went back downstairs to get a snack, I saw someone on the couch. Darcy.

I said in awe,"Darce?!"

She replied,"Clare?! It's been SO long! Look how much you've grown! What did you do to your hair?" She got up and hugged me.

I hugged her back and said,"Cancer, Remember? How long are you staying?"

"This is my house too you know, i'm not going back to Kenya. So, about this baby." Said Darcy.

"Um, so about that..." I said.

She said,"I'm so happy for you!!".

I replied,"Excuse me?".

"I can't believe I get to be an Aunt!" She said with a smile.

"I thought you would yell at me" I assumed.

She mouthed,"Nope".

I said,"That's great! Well this is Eli".

Eli, who was standing next to me said,"Hi i'm Eli Goldsworthy" he stuck out his hand.

My sister replied,"Darcy Edwards, pleased to meet you".

They shook hands.

She whispered to me saying,"Is he your baby daddy?".

I coughed then said,"Um no, it's the Student Council President's. Drew Torres."

Darcy said,"Oh... Can you fill me in on the latest things that happened in our household that I don't know of?".

"Well, Mom and Dad got divorced, We have a step-brother named Jake, and Mom got married to a guy from church named Glen." I said.

She replied,"Whoa wait a second, Mom got divorced?! Step-brother?! Step-Dad?!".

I nodded.

A minute later, Jake cam downstairs.

He said,"You must be Darcy. I've heard nothing about you" he glanced over at me then looked back at Darcy and smiled.

"And you must be Jake" she said.

I inturupted and said,"Excuse me, Darce, you have to sleep on the couch tonight".

Darcy asked,"And why is that?".

I replied,"Eli is sleeping over, and Jake took over the guest room".

Darcy said,"Okay, I get it".

I left Jake and Darcy alone for them to get to know each other.

I said,"Let's go Eli".

We went into the kitchen and started making lemonade.

Once we were finished, we sat down at the dining table and started drinking it.

After that, We went back upstairs.

Eli said,"I'm going to go get ready." He walked out of my room.

5 Minutes later, he came back into my room, which meant it was my turn. So I left him alone in my room for 10 minutes.

I asked,"Where do you want to sleep?"

He replied,"Where am I allowed to sleep?".

"Anywhere" I said to Eli.

"Why don't we just share the bed?" He asked.

I said,"Uh sure".

I went to one side, and Eli went to another. I wasn't exactly as roomy as I thought it would be.

Eli said,"Night, Clare".

I replied,"Good night, Eli".
