Chapter Five

Hey guys! I like, just woke up xD So um, yeah! I hope you all have a good day at school! School's going good! How is school for you guys, if you're still in school, or in school yet?

Michael's POV 

I ran to my room after she kissed my cheek. She was crying, but I wanted to kiss her... but I don't like her... do I? 

"Goddammit!" I shouted and punched the bed. 

After a while, I just fell asleep.

Calem's POV 

"I'm sorry about that." I apologized to Maddy when I woke up.

"Yeah, it's okay. I don't even care anymore." She said.

"Someone's pissed." Ash said walking into the room. 

"I'm not..." She said quietly. Well that's different... 

"Did something happen between you two?" I asked suspiciously.

"What? No, of course not!" She yelled. "How dare you say something like that." She shouted and stormed out of the room.

"That's my girl." I heard Ash say.

"She's not your girl. She's mine. And mine alone. So back off, got it drummer boy?" I threatened him.

He laughed and said, "You believe that. Meanwhile, I'm gonna go talk to my girl." He walked to her room. 

She's mine, you prick. I won't let you take her from me. I ran to her room and found Ash outside the door. He was sitting against the door frame. He was just staring at the wall. He got rejected. 

"Ash, what's up bro?" Michael said and I hid. 

"Oh, it was nothing. I was just kicked out by Maddy, again. It's no biggie. I think I'm gonna go." Ash said getting up and walking to the living room. He opened the door and just left somewhere.

Soon after he left, Maddy came out of her room. Practically everyone was by her room now.

"What happened?" We all asked.

"It was nothing. I gotta go. Don't burn the house down." She said and rushed out the door.

You better follow her. You need make sure that her and Ash aren't meeting up. 

"I'm following her." I said and did as I said I was going to do.

Ash's POV 

I waited for her at the cafe, like we planned. She walks through the door and sits across from me.

"Hey." She says with a smile.

"Hey." I said back with a smile.

We talked for hours. It was actually relaxing, to just sit and talk to someone. I was smiling the whole time, so was she.

"You know, I'm glad that we're friends. You're such a nice guy, Ashton." She said. My heart broke when she said that we were friends.

"Yeah, me too. And thanks." I said. We heard the door open but thought nothing of it, because it was a public cafe and everything.

"Is this a date?" Calem's voice said. We looked up at him and froze.

"Ew, why would I be on a date with him?" She said. Well that hurt. 

"Then what's this?" Calem questioned us.

"I... I was forcing her to stay here. She came here on her own and I kept her here. She didn't want to but I plead for her too and she didn't want us to cause a scene so she stayed." I lied.

"Come on, Maddy. Let's go home." Calem glared at me and grabbed Maddy's arm. 

"Actually, I still want to be out. I have things to do and this was just one of my stops. Anyways, I must get going. It was nice to talk to you, Calem." She said and got up and left. My heart broke into a million pieces when she left. 

"Dammit Calem! Can you please stop being such a douche bag!" I yelled and left the cafe.

I sat under a tree and looked at the sunset. I've been out all day. And I was with the person I loved until one of my close friends ruined it. I sighed and closed my eyes.

"I don't think it'd be safe to fall asleep out here." Maddy said. "At least, not alone." She added. My eyes shot open and revealed the gorgeous girl in front of me. "You okay?" She asked with the cutest smile ever.

I smiled and said, "I'm great now that you're here." I said. She smiled and sat down next to me. 

She put her head on shoulder and grabbed my hand and held it.

"What're you doing?" I asked and looked over at her. She smiled at me.

She looked so beautiful... Just wow.

"Ash, I'm sorry." She said to me.

"Sorry about what?" I asked, confused.

"Sorry that I was so mean to you. I was nervous." She said.

"It's okay." I said and smiled. 

"I'm truly sorry." She said and kissed my cheek. I got all tingly, and I mean like everywhere. It was different then anything else.

"What was that for?" I asked with a smile.

"For being you." She smiled.

"Could I get another one? Maybe on the lips?" I asked, jokingly.

"In your dreams." She laughed.

"Come on, we should get home." I said and grabbed her hand as I got up and helped her up.

"Yeah, let's go." She said with a smile.
