Chained Rose

Luna introduced herself to the entire class and finished off by sitting down next to Rose. While the teacher continued his lecture on Shakespeare, Rose couldn't help but keep glancing at Luna for the entirety of the class. Her Dark brown hair, her tan skin, and her physique, but there was one thing that intrigued her the most. Luna's eyes were different colors her left iris was an Emerald green whilst her right iris was Hazel, which was beautiful.

Rose kept on glancing at the board and then to Luna and so forth until the end of the class. Rose wanted to make friends with the new student and in order to do that she has to take initiative and start a conversation but that's the hard part for her. She isn't good at starting a conversation or ending one so that was a problem on its own.

Before Rose could leave the class she felt a small tap on her shoulder and when she turned around she was greeted with Luna smiling.

"Hi, sorry to bother you but do you know where this class is?" Luna asked pointing to room 327 which was the biology class.
"Uh...yeah I do, just go down the hall, walk through the double doors, turn right, then- oh wait I have that class right now I could just show you if you want?"
"That'd be great actually, Thank you"
"No problem, c'mon let's go before the bell rings" They start walking and finally reach the class.

Rose takes her seat and since Luna doesn't know anyone she just sits by Rose. At that very moment Luna remembered that she didn't introduce herself properly to her 'friend'.

"So um, hi my name is Luna, Luna Gomez what's yours?"
"Hmm...oh right, my name is Rose Rosado"
"Well nice to meet you Rose"
"Same to you Luna" Rose said, finally happy that they had properly met before the end of the day.

As the class began Rose was able to focus more now that she made the acquaintance of Luna which was a good first step into becoming friends. The lecture was on plant reproduction and which parts of the flower were male and female, while also talking about how certain plants defend and imprison other animals for their well being.

5 minutes before the bell rang the teacher announced that the class was going to have a project. They have to grow a plant while on Winter break and if the plant doesn't grow you get an 'F' not to mention this was also a group project so if one person screwed the plant the other would have to pay for their actions.

"Alright class since you're all basically adults, I'll allow you to choose your own partners but I'm not responsible for the actions you make, understood?"

The whole class answered with a reassured 'yes' and then went to choosing their partners for their project.

"Hey Rose, want to be my partner? I really don't know anybody else but you so far and I would feel very uncomfortable" Luna asked hoping that Rose would say yes and that she wouldn't have to struggle with talking to someone new.

"S...Sure but can we do it at your house? I don't fully trust myself, my dad or brother with stuff like this" Rose blurted out, hoping that Luna wouldn't ask 'why'.

Luna was fine with it and was happy that Rose had agreed to be her partner, while Rose was happy that she was making great progress and that she was closer to becoming friends with Luna.
