Decode (twilight fanfic)

The Dream

CHAPTER 1 DECODE

"Were are we going mommy?" I said

"Well, Christmas is almost here so were going to buy your daddy a present." said my mommy Renee.

"Can I take my teddy?"

"Sure honey"she said.

Yay I get to take my teddy!

Its my favorite toy in the world, well the only toy I have. It has a pretty little bell on it and is brown like the color of mud. To some people this seems pretty terrible, but to me it is the best one of all. My mom had worked so hard to get it for me two years ago for Christmas.

   I took the toy in my hands and headed out the door with mom.
Mommy took my hand and she and we started walking to store.

"Aren't we going to take the car?" I asked. She turned to me with sad eyes.

"Oh I'm sorry Bella we don't have any money to pay for gas. We're going to have to take the bus and walk for a little bit." Her voice cracked a little in the last part. I gave her my biggest smile.

"It's ok mommy it's not your fault" I could tell she was close to tears but I didn't want her to be sad because of our lack of money.

"What are we getting daddy?" I asked mom to change the subject.

"I dont really know I guess watever we can find and afford."

"Ok" I said.

"Ok Bella hold on to my hand we're going to cross the street" said mom. I handed her my right hand for her to take. When we were about to reach the other end of the street I felt something pull my teddy bear. When I turned I saw a dark figure disappearing in the alley while my teddy bear was had landed several feet away from me. I go of my mom's had and dashed across to the middle of the street.

When I picked my toy from the middle of the street I hugged it. I almost lost my only toy.

I was heading back to my mom when there was a car hedding my way so fast it seemed almost impossible. Then I felt something pull me out of the way. It was a very pale man with bronze hair. His eyes were scary and black but I somehow felt somewhat secure in his arms. He took me to were my mom was which was not gar away because she tried to go after me with a scared look on her face. I frowned, I made my mom worry. I could have died but it was worth it. Teddy is probably the only toy I'm ever gonna have. The man let go of my hand and I ran to give mommy a hug. The man smiled revealing white sharp looking teeth. His eyes turned red and his face morphed in an entirely different one. His hair turned blonde.The only feature that stayed was the pale skin. I turned to look at mommy but she wasnt there. We weren't in the sidewalk anymore we were in a dark alley. The man started approching me and I noticed the blood stains on his shirt. He took my teddy away and ripped it in half. Throwing it to the ground. I was to scared to scream. He was coming to kill me, he stepped closer.

End of dream

I woke up with my heart racing, I was breathing heavily and surrounded by a pool of sweat. I've been having that dream scince I could remember.  But it never failed to terrify me every time.

"Oh it's just I dream Bella" I said to myself "Just a regular nightmare."

I began to repeat this to myself while I closed my eyes and massaged my temples.
