Black And White Chapter 9 Part 1

Polie, Jinny, Shadow, and Scrat, are sitting in Master Sonic's room, with candles lit in front of them, and they're all sitting, and waiting for something important that he has to tell them all, they're all waiting patiently, wondering what he has to say. Scrat: (whispers to them, kinda looks at them, curious look) Soooo? Anyone know why we're here? Jinny: (whispers back to him, glances over at him, shrugs, normal face) No clue. Polie and Shadow: (whisper to them, kinda looks at both of them) Shhh. Master Sonic: (eyes still closed) My sons, and daughter. Today is something very special to all of us, as your father and your mentor. I have watched your training, and it's been excellent so far, you all have shown, some very wonderful progress. But some of you have shown more great progress than others. (stands up) But, there is still so much that still has to be done. We all have different roles to play in this life, and that any fate can be tested or denied. Polie and Shadow: (both listening and thinking) .... Master Sonic: (eyes still open, walking back and forth) You four, remind me of the great flame of fire... Or it's four little sparks. It's like four little sparks, growing, changing, and becoming a better, and bigger powerful flame, or big the waves of water, trying to move four strong stones, and working together, your hearts, minds, and souls have become more powerful... As one. I've been giving this some thought, and have accepted the density of my fate..  (opens his eyes, serious look at them) And for that, I've decided to step down as your mentor, and give the deed to someone, who I believe that truly deserves it. All Four Furries: (gasp and look at him in shock) What?! Master Sonic: (looks at them serious look) Yes, that's correct. Polie Phantom?! Polie: (hears his name being called and looks up at him, also bows a little) Yes Master Sonic? Master Sonic: (points to him with his walking stick) I've chosen you, to be the new Master of The TeenAge Immortal Ninja Furries. Jinny, Scrat, Shadow, Polie: (still shocked, surprised, stunned, can't believe it looks on their faces) Again.... WHAT?!?!?! Master Sonic: (nods his head, soft smile) Yes Polie. I've chosen you, because you are the most powerful of all five of us, and you've proven to be a great leader, and you've done fantastic with the training sessions as of late. But still... Keep training them, keep leading them, and this goes to all of you. Never forget where you belong, never forget who loves and supports you. But most importantly... All four of you... Never forget who you are. Shadow: (letting those last two sentences sink in) .... Master Sonic: (lifts up a gloved paw to motion up) Now rise. Polie: (stands up and looks proud, serious, and even worried) .... Master Sonic: (soft smile) Congratulations to you Polie, you have done very well to deserve this gracious honor. Jinny, Scrat, and even Shadow: (start clapping, and smiling at each other and him, but Shadow looks down, worried) Polie: (looks down, still worried look, thinks) I can't believe this is happening to me! How will Shadow be able to survive it? How does he feel about it? Damn. Shadow: (also looks down, also worried look, thinks) Shit. Does this?... Whole new Master thing change the relationship between us? Does that mean we're gonna have to break up because of this? How will we deal with it? Fuck. Master Sonic: (looks closely at Polie's face) Hm? What's the matter Polie my son? You should look excited for this day, but your not, why is that? Polie: (looks down again, a bit sad face) Because I'm... I'm not ready. Master Sonic: (surprised look but still smiles) But Polie, of course you are! Trust me you are, the results of your training, fighting and leadership have been most impressive. Just as my Master Doshi always said to me... Life is like a challenge, we all must face it, and to get through it together. As one, as a family, as friends, and as a team. And you all have done just that. But don't stop there, keep doing your best. Make me, yourselves, and your new Master proud. Respect him, as you would me. (looking at Polie again, smiling) Jinny and Scrat: (look up at him, smiling a little) !! Polie and Shadow: (kinda look at each other, a little worried, scared and concerned) .... Scrat: (gets up, worried look at Master Sonic) Sooo? What are you gonna do now Master.. Uhh, I mean... Sonic? Master Sonic: (smug look at him) Oh, I may be done teaching my students, but that does not mean I'm far from done teaching my sons and daughter. That alone is already giving me grey quills. Scrat: (smile smirk look at him, touches his chin) Aw come on Sonic! Your as young and fresh as me! Master Sonic: (smug look still) I really appreciate the compliment, Scrat Cattails. Scrat: (smiles proud) No problem. So, now what? Master Sonic: (looks at them, smiles) Well... To be completely honest... Since the personal training with Mrs. Phantom did so well. That I'm going to keep training with her. She has so much to learn, and has so much potential. And... Unless, you all or any of you want to accompany and help me? I would like very much. Jinny: (gets up, paws up, smiles) Well... I'd love to, but I've got some errands to run. (looks at Polie, smile smirk, bows down a little) If that's alright with you? Master? Polie: (looks at her, a bit confused look) Uh... Er... Me: End Of Chapter 9! Part 1! To Be Continued... (evilly laughing and other evil laughter follows) Yes, that's right guys.
