I was sitting in my house going through some things and putting in applications to places I knew might accept me. I had just recently graduated college and had a degree with cyber security and a minor in military cyber security. I was very smart and I was told I had a gift for what I did. I just wondered why it was taking so long to find a job with this degree.

I've been waiting weeks now to find a job. I had a backup source of income for now until then.

I decided to give the job searching a break and actually make some food I was starving. I decided on just to put a pizza in the oven and then I sat down on the couch and turned the tv on to my favorite show supernatural when my phone rang.

"Hello", I answered.

"Yes, is this Athena Walters".

"Yes it is".

"Well this is Nick Fury from shield. And we have looked over your work and we are pretty impressed here and would like to offer you a job here. Would you be interested in that?"

"Yes of course. Thank you so much Mr. Fury".

"Just Nick is fine. I will be sending an email with the directions and all the information to the email I have on file".

"Alright thank you again. Have a good day".

I got off the phone and immediately looked up who I was working for.

A counterterrorism and intelligence agency charged with investigating and neutralizing paranormal and superhuman threats.

Our agency name stands for strategic homeland intervention, enforcement and logistics division.

I tried finding more about it but I couldn't. I guess they were pretty secretive. I was kind of excited to work for them they were exactly what I wanted from the description. I feel like I've heard of them before but I couldn't place it in my mind. I bet superhuman was heroes I've heard about them in New York. I haven't seen any through. I guess evil was quiet for now.

I got a ping on my phone and I look down and see an email from them. I look at it and see instructions and directions my orientation was tomorrow.

I was nervous they seemed like a huge deal and I didn't want to screw this up. I look at the time and decide to clean up and do the laundry I needed to do.
