Chapter One

  Skyler' s P. O. V.

  I wake up to a punch in the stomach by my lovely father. I wince and stay still until he's out of my room for good. I get up and get dressed into some blue jeans with a tank top with lace on the sides. I brush my hair and teeth then run down stairs and out the door. I run until I'm about a mile away from the school, because I was having a hard time breathing. I kneel down into the ground holding my chest for a few minutes. After a while the pain and my lungs have aloud my to breathe again I get up and start to run to school again.
  Once I step foot onto the school grounds my friends stood on both sides of me. They both grab one of my hands and squeeze. I squeeze there's back in reassurance that I'm okay.
  "Sky you have to watch this video that I saw on YouTube this morning! It's Adam Rupp doing a drum solo!" Hunter says excitedly.
  "No! Watch Austin sing All About That Bass!" Adian exclaims excitedly slapping Hunter in the back of his head.
  "Ow! Women can be so cruel!" Hunter grumbles under his breathe.
  I smile at my friends and shake my head. Their antics of life is crazy.
  "Hunter, Aidan, do we have a gig tonight at, Tonys?" I ask.
  Hunter looks at the ground and looks at Aidan thoughtfully.
  I look at Aidan and she sighs.
  "We do, but there's going to be another band playing there too. Tony said whoever plays best gets to win a ticket to Home Frees concert Friday." Aidan said looking at her hands.
  I stop in my tracks. Who's playing?
  "Who else is playing?" I ask kinda nervous.
  Hunter and Aidan gulp at the same time.
  "Carson and his group." Hunter says looking anywhere but me.
  I look at Aidan for her support.
  "We can take them. We have me and Aidan as the beat boxer, bass and tenor. Hunter you can hit some awesome low notes as tenor. Show me the video of Adam beat boxing so you can practice with some of his beats." I tell them.
  I watch the video and I'm impressed with what I've seen and heard.

  After Hell No. 1 Is Over

  I walk into Tonys with Hunter and Aidan. We walk on stage and wait for Carson's group to show up.
  "The best acapella group has arrived!" We hear Carson yell from the entrance.
  I look and see they're all dressed up in fancy clothes while we're all wearing regular clothes.
  "Your not the best until you beat us." I tell him.
  "You guys can't even sing! I bet you can't even hit a beat or sing a low note!" Aden says.
  I smile at him.
  "You're right! You can't!" I say smiling at him.
  He closes his mouth and lunges for me only to be caught by Tony.
"Take your anger out in the songs kids! Now let's get started!" Tony says poitkng at us.
  We get into position before singing a song from Home Free.

  I sing as both Adam and Tim. Hunters of course Chris. And Adian sings as both Rob and Austin .
  When we finish we all bow and smirk at Carson's group. They all have shocked looks on their faces. Carson makes a face before walking into stage as we walk off.
 

  When they get finished we're all laughing. They used that horrible song! That song was best sung in 2014! Hahahahahahahahahahaha!
  I jump up on stage and smile at them nicely.
  "Why don't we get this over with?" I ask as we face off.
  "Lets go!" Carson yells.
 

  At the end of the song we pull Carson over into the middle of us. After the song officially ends we shove him back over to his group. Tony climbs in stage and stands in the middle of all of us. We watch and wait for him to tell us who won the ticket.
  "The winner is........" He pauses for affect.
  "Skylar! Adian! And Hunter! H. A. S.!" Tony announced giving us the ticket.
  Aidan and Hunter gave me the ticket since they've been to plenty and I've never been to one.
