"Why do you have to leave?" I asked him, as tears were rolling on my cheeks. He was my best friend, Adrian Harris. I just couldn't bear the thought of him leaving, I met him when I was 5 and from that day, I knew that we were going to be friends, best friends to be exact.
"My parents wanted me to study in Florida,I'll be with them there. But, we can still chat right?" He asked me, I knew it was hard for him too.
I sighed, "I'll miss you". "I'll miss you too" He said then he hugged me, tears started to pour more.
I watched him as he and his parents left his house,I cried and cried for days. I miss my childhood best friend.
He was Adrian Harris,my first friend and first love. We would always climb to his rooftop and watch the stars, he would sing songs for me so that I can sleep faster.
He stood up for me when I was being bullied,he was there for me every time. But now, he was gone. He left to Florida, he left me with no communications. Not even a call or a text.
But that was 5 years ago, now I'm 15 years old, I should move on from him. Besides, he probably forgot me.
I will start forgetting him from now on.
