Jungkook, known as "Bunny" in the underground racing world, had a reputation that stretched across five countries. The name was synonymous with speed, skill, and an unshakable confidence that came from his belief that he was the best. Born into a wealthy family—his father a successful businessman—Jungkook had never had to work for anything. His life was one of privilege. Cars, motorcycles, the finest clothes, and all the girls he could ever want—nothing was out of his reach. As the new transfer student, he was used to the attention, the stares, and the whispered rumors. Everything came easily to him, especially the thrill of racing.
But there was one thing he wasn't expecting that night.
Park Y/N had always been the mystery that people whispered about. The only daughter of a street racer turned businessman, she was shielded from the chaos of the world by a veil of protection. Her family, knowing the dangers of the racing world all too well, kept her hidden behind walls. She never walked the streets alone, always guarded by two imposing bodyguards, her every move scrutinized. No one knew who she really was—except those closest to her, of course.
But tonight, she decided to break free. She'd had enough of her gilded cage.
It was 2 a.m., and Y/N was craving something she couldn't live without: a KitKat. The simple treat, a moment of sweetness in her otherwise sheltered life, was all she needed. But what she didn't expect was the chaos she would stumble into on her midnight snack run.
As Jungkook raced down the empty streets, dodging the flashing red lights of a police car tailing him, his mind was focused solely on proving his superiority. He skillfully swerved, pushing the limits of his bike as the sirens blared behind him. He'd mastered the art of escaping the law—and tonight would be no different.
But fate had other plans.
Y/N, blissfully unaware of the danger, stood at the corner of the street, lost in the satisfaction of her KitKat bar. Her mind was elsewhere, focused on the sweet chocolate she was savoring. The sound of an engine revving caught her attention, but she didn't think much of it. After all, street racing was nothing new to her.
"Move!" Jungkook's voice, muffled by his helmet, shouted out, but Y/N, lost in her snack, didn't hear him.
"Huh?" she asked, barely looking up.
"Girl, MOVE!" Jungkook barked again, frustration creeping into his voice as he swerved dangerously around her.
"I can't hear you, boy!" Y/N shot back, irritated, still oblivious to the oncoming danger.
Then, without warning, his motorcycle's tires screeched as he collided with her foot.
"MY FOOT!" Y/N screamed, the sudden shock of pain searing through her.
Jungkook cursed under his breath as he slowed down, braking hard and stopping just in time. His heart raced—not from the adrenaline of the chase, but from the realization that he'd just hit someone. He pulled off his helmet, his eyes immediately locking onto Y/N, who was writhing on the ground, clutching her foot.
"Are you deaf?!" he yelled, his frustration boiling over.
"Are you blind?!" Y/N retorted, glaring up at him, her anger matching his.
Jungkook didn't have time for this. The sound of sirens grew louder, and panic flashed in his eyes as he quickly yanked his helmet back on, preparing to leave.
But Y/N wasn't having it. With a swift motion, she grabbed her flip-flop from the ground and threw it at his helmet, hitting it with a satisfying smack.
"Hey!" she shouted, still seething. "Don't you dare leave me here! You ran over my foot, you take responsibility, asshole! Look at my precious KitKat—it's on the dirty ground now! Buy me a new one!"
The audacity of this girl was enough to stop Jungkook in his tracks. His heart was racing, but now it was from something else. Something that had nothing to do with racing.
This version adds a little more context to both characters, setting up their personalities and circumstances in a way that makes their first meeting more dynamic. Let me know if you'd like further adjustments or more details!
