Complicated Chapter 1

Ladybug looks up at the beautiful night sky in Paris. It is a chilly weather outside, early December. She sees the dazzling lights of the Eiffel Tower along with the noises of honking cars and people chatting down below.

She and Chat noir were on patrol that night with a nice silence between the both of them, no one saying a word, just looking at the breathtaking view from the top of a tall plain building to see if there was anything suspicious happening that night.
Finally, she decides to break the silence and call it a night.
"It seems like everything is under control tonight chat, I think we should call it a night. I have school tomorrow and I want to be early for once to meet up with a friend before schools starts. You should probably get going too. I suppose you go to school too right?" She turned to him too see him already looking at her. He had this flirty smirk on his face.
She hates when he does that.
That face was enough to make anyone feel butterfly's inside. She almost felt guilty about it.
"Yeah your probably right" he said breaking eye contact with her and staring down at the city. "And yes I do go to school. I'm still getting the hang of it though"
What did he mean?
He got up from sitting down and looked at her with those gorgeous green eyes of him. The moon and stars behind him, made him look mysterious and handsome. Wait. Why was she thinking that way?
She always tried to act the most professional when they were on patrol or when fighting a villain. Always thought of him as nothing but a partner. Someone she can trust in case she needed to go somewhere during combat, like to master fu's place. Someone she can talk to about personal things (not too personal of course which can lead him clues about her identity). Just a friend. And also—
"Ladybug?"
"Oh um w-what was that s-sorry I was thinking about something." She said quickly looking away in embarrassment.
She heard his give a small chuckle beside him, which made her turn red in embarrassment almost immediately.
"I just said that I'm leaving now. You should go too if you want to be early for school tomorrow. Good night M'lady." he said with a kind smile. He walked towards her, quickly kissed her cheek, pulled out his baton and left.

A few seconds later she just stood there with a small blush in her face. She finally snapped out of her position pulled out her yo-yo and went home. Adrien lays awake that night looking up at the plain sealing. He couldn't sleep. He had kissed her cheek that night. She was also acting strange, almost like she was uncomfortable. Did he do something wrong?
"I didn't do anything wrong did I Plagg?" He looked beside him to see him sleeping.
"Nah you didn't do anything, go to sleep Adriennnnn" he said in an annoyed voice. Adrien rolled his eyes and got up to turn off his night light.

Marinette woke up to the sound of her alarm. Boy did she hate that thing.
She got up and stretched her arms and let out a big groan. She looks beside her, Tikki was still sleeping on a separate pillow she had made for her. She looked adorable when she slept.
"Wake up Tikki we don't want to be late to school. Again." She said in a whisper.
Tikki slowly opened her eyes and floated upwards. She blinked a few more times and floated upwards. "Good morning Marinette!" She said with a huge smile.
Marinette climbed down the ladder to pick out her clothes for the day. She picked a white polka dotted skirt with a pink long sleeved shirt with a bow in the front (next slide) And went downstairs to get breakfast.
Alya waited outside the school for marinette. "Where is that girl?" She said inpatient. A few moments later she spotted marinette running towards her as if there were a butterfly trying to akimatize her.
"Hi Alya! Sorry I'm sort of late I couldn't find my uh- school bag! I hope we still have time for the plan you where going to tell me about today! Alya laughed loudly at the sight of her best friend.

Alya had told her the other day that she had made a plan for marinette to confess to Adrien. She decided it was time to stop drooling over pictures of him and finally ask him out on a real date. Yeah it was going to be impossible, but Alya would be there listening and helping her out.
"Are you ready to go get the love of your life!" Alya said putting her hands up in the air to hype up her friend.
"YES!" Marinette said with a huge smile in her face.
Are you ready to take him on a date! She said more loud this time.
"YESSSS!" marinette said once again.
Are you ready to confess to HIM! She screamed in her face.
"YAASSSSSS" She said with a red face.
They both laughed loudly until they held themselves together. Marinette loved when they had moments like this. They both made themselves a way towards the building.

Marinette nervously walked inside the school with Alya on her side. They walked inside the classroom and they both looked straight to Adriens desk. He was wearing a gray, long sleeve sweater with black jeans, and white and black adidas shoes (next slide). He looked really handsome which made marinette ten times nervous. He was talking with Nino waiting for class to start.
Alya whispered what to say in her ear and told her to go. Marinette slowly walked next to his desk and he turned when he noticed her standing next to him.
"Hello marinette!" He said with a innocent voice. He was looking at her with his calm, big, green eyes. It gave her butterflies.
Marinette took a deep breath.
"Uh h-hi Adrien i was wondering if uh" she turned to Alya who was hiding in the tables in the back of the class room. She gave her two thumbs up and had a encouraging smile on her face.
Adrien noticed how nervous she sounded.
"Is everything okay?" He said with a worried expression on his face.
"Yeah I'm f-fine uh I wanted to a-ask you something after class is it okay if we met? After class that is, not like a date just get bite somewhere or something." She said quickly to not make him feel uncomfortable.
A bite. Really?
She saw his face go from a worried expression to a face of relief.
"That sounds great!" He gave her a cute smile.
"Great! Meet you after s-school then! Is 7:00 okay for you?" She said walking backwards towards her desk slowly.
"Yes. 7:00 is perfect"
"Okay, see you then!" She said quickly and sat on her chair.
She hid her face behind her backpack taking a deep breath and rethought what just happened. She felt her face hot.
She had done it.
Legs still shaking, she tried to pay attention to the rest of the class, but her mind just kept going back thinking of all the things that can go bad while she was going to confess to him.
Will he laugh?
Will he be speechless?
But worst is all.
No. He would never do that. Or maybe..
She let out a little groan that only she could hear.
