Lumine's POV
The next day I headed to the attic.....

After a couple of hours I still didn't find Kody.I sighed, discouraged.After a couple of minutes I heard an explosion, I ran over to we're the noise came from and saw smoke.I ran down to we're the smoke's source was. I ran into the smoke coughing from inhaling some smoke once some of the smoke cleared I saw Kody his face smeared with dust and dirt

"What are you doing here?"he asked annoyed

"W-well I h-heard t-the e-explosion and c-came to c-check it out,"I stuttered my wolf ears down nervously

"Well you checked it out now go,"he said while holding up a purple liquid in a glass

"What's that?"I asked nervously

"Potion,"he said bluntly, I walked closer curious of what he was making

"What're you still doing here?"he asked annoyed

"Well A-Aiden t-told me to look a-after y-you,"I stuttered

"So what you don't care about me your only doing this cause you were told," he said annoyed

"No that's not it I-I'm not just doing this cause your dad told me to,"I yelled quickly then silenced "I'm doing this because I want to be your friend,"I whispered looking down

After a couple minutes Kody broke the silence and spoke
"Fine I'll consider letting you be my bodyguard if you drink this potion,"he said the last part making my spine chill.I gulped nervously

This will help me be closer to Kody though....
I snatched the potion and started to drink it.After a couple of seconds everything went black.

Kody's POV

I saw the white haired boy faint from the effects of the 'potion'.My eyes widened surprised he actually drank it.

Idiot

I thought as I went to check if he was still breathing fortunately he was.

"Dad!"I yelled while picking up the boy his small frame leaning on my back as I gave him a piggyback ride.My eyes widened surprised by how light he was. I went to the living room to see Silver and Shiro talking to each other.Once they noticed me there eyes widened

"Kody!What happened to the new guy?!"silver said surprised

"Well long story short he drank one of my 'potions',"I said bluntly

"Oh man I feel bad for him,"silver said scratching the back of his head

"So deal with him,"I said annoyed

"Okay, Okay but tell Aiden about Lumine, Aiden's in his office,"Shiro said getting Lumine off my back, who looked like he was having a dream he smiled in his sleep, I looked away slightly blushing

What the hell

I walked upstairs to dad's office, I nocked on the door hearing a 'come in' I walked in blankly staring at my dad

"Kody what's wrong,"Adien said worried because of the rarity of me coming to his office

"Lumine drank one of my 'potions',"I said blankly not realizing I said Lumine's name

"Oh Kody you probably told him something and forced him,"he said shaking his head I moved my head away

"Anyway go to your room oh and I hope your ready for school next week,"he said while I walked away

I made a 'tch' sound and walked out and walked toward my room
