I sat quietly in the loud darkness of my room. There was a quick knock on my door. I just pulled my blankets over my face. My bedroom door opened, letting the bright lights of the hallway into my darkness.
My mom pushed herself in, holding a scared face, "How are you?" She asked. Leaving my face under my blankets I mumbled, "Fine,". That's a lie. We both know it is.
"Honey..." she stopped, thinking before she spoke. "You can talk to me,".
I sighed and pulled my blankets off of my face, sitting up, "Mom, I just want to be alone. I'm sorry. ".
She stared for a few seconds longer and nodded slightly while shutting my door.
I know this hurts her too. I'm sure she blames herself, but it isn't her fault. It's mine. I should have been more careful. I wasn't thinking. I was stupid.
My life was ruined for a stupid party. I should have stayed home. Why didn't I stay home?A/N: Hey guys, I haven't wrote in forever. I just thought up the idea of this story, and I'm pretty excited. This chapter is just a preview of the story. Next chapter will be the real start of it.
