I'm so happy I got a request right off the bat! I have absolutely no idea how good or bad this will be as I dont do angst much. This is my first actually! But I love my little celery stick boi so I figured i'd give it a shot. Plz let me know in the comments if I did good or even did his character correctly? Thanks!

Your POV

  You sniffled holding the blade, you couldn't do it anymore. You'd seen the outside world... It might has well have not existed. You weren't going to let Monokumas stupid game win, if you were going to die it would be on your own terms. You were numb with shock anyways, you took a shaky inhale and turned on the recorder. "HI everyone... It's me. You won't need to worry about a class trial. Because i'll be the blackened in this case. I-" I looked up at Rantaro who stood in the doorway, eyes wide.

I gave a sad smile at the one man I had grown even a small relationship with in this hellhole. "I thought I locked it... sorry." He shook his head. "Turn that thing off you're not dying on me." My lip quivered as I looked to the floor, hitting the button, I didn't want everyone to hear this conversation. 

"Rantaro... You can't change my mind on this." He sat cross legged next to me on the floor. A heartbroken smile plastered on his face. "I'm not leaving until I do." I shook my head, the tears starting to flow. "Pl-please. I can't do this with you in here. I just want to end this. Even if we win we can't go outside.. What's the point?" He put a hand on my cheek, pulling my face up to look at his beautiful green eyes. "The point... Is we need hope. Hope to defeat Monokuma, and I need you if i'm going to have any." I bit my still quivering lip. "Rantaro I just can't... I can't anymore. I'm so tired."

He pulled me into a strong embrace, I sighed feeling safer but this didn't help anything. I knew he'd never like me back, especially not now. We were all going to die and I just wanted a head start, why couldn't he accept that?

Rantaro POV

I held the shaking girl in my arms. I wasn't- No. Couldn't let her die today. Or any other day for that matter. She was the only one I trusted in this group. I was on my way to share my survivor perk with her... If I would've just been a bit faster. Damnnit. "(Y/N) you can't die. I.. I found something that could help us defeat Monokuma." I heard a muffled I dont care from my jacket and sighed rubbing her back. 

She can't give up, I had to stop chickening out. Even if she doesn't feel the same maybe it will give her something to live for. " I pulled her face to mine and rested our foreheads together. "I'm gonna do something... Don't freak out alright?" She nodded and sniffled, a tear rolling down her cheek. I took a breath and leaned forward pressing my lips to hers.

Your POV

My eyes widened as I felt his warm lips envelop mine. I sighed happily into the kiss as everything melted away, even for a second. After he pulled away I gave a shaky inhale at the thought of what just happened. I looked to him wiping the tears from my eyes. "You... You just kissed me." he gave a small chuckle, still a look of concern on his face. "Yes I did." 

I looked at him with almost a desperate need for an answer. "Listen (F/N), I know we haven't known each other long but... I like you. I think this could into something. I think." He paused. "I think WE could turn into something. Maybe even beat Monokuma. But I need you to stay alive for that too happen. So please, live. Live for me."

I felt myself tear up again and nodded jumping into his once again open arms for an embrace. "Okay... I'll live. For you." He smiled down kissing my head. "And one more thing?" I looked up with innocent eyes. "Be my girlfriend?" I broke into a smile. "That's a definite yes." He chuckled and leaned down giving me another quick peck before standing and offering a hand. "It's time for lunch. Care to join me?" I nodded standing and putting the knife back in its holster. 

He gave me a look,"It's only for self defense now. I promise." He nodded. "Alright I trust you... But i'm sleeping in here tonight to keep an eye on you." I gave a small blush at the thought. "Y-You mean in my..?" He laughed. "No i'll sleep in the chair." I gave a nervous chuckle. "Oh... I knew that." He smiled and wrapped an arm around my shoulders. "Come on Gorgeous, lest go eat lunch." I leaned in with an arm around my boyfriends waist before walking to the cafeteria."Lets."
