Chapter 1:Nicolai

Nicola's Pov

"Ohhh~Here's the cutie little one?? already awake,love?"I cooed to my son seeing him already awake showing me his cute dimples on each side of his cheeks while giggling as I tickle him

*sigh*He really looks like his father.He seems like his father's younger version.... Well, Except for his black hair that he got from me which is far from his father's brownish one....

Nicolai got everything from his father that made me always remember him just by looking at my son seldom cry for some reason just by looking at Nicolai though...

And really! It's hard being a single mom raising a few months old child, but all of it are all worth it for he always makes me happy and stress free!!! Can't blame me just by looking at his adorable face!!!hihihi!!!

"Mama's gonna feed you now,love~ Then we'll go take a bath. Daddy Rick's gonna come soon while mama's going to work, okay?"I said and he seems to understand me when he pulled my shirt so I immediately fed him then took off his clothes for him to bath.

I put him inside the tub of bubbles first, enough for him not to get drown while I'm still gonna undress my clothes before joining him inside

He started to play with the toy ducks floating in his front paddling them as soon as I put him in... He giggled and giggled as he happily plays with the cute yellow toy ducks....

Well, that's what he always do... He always enjoys playing while having his bath especially with me....

After making sure that he wont drown himself, I then quickly took off my clothes then joined him to his bath as I added more water.Gently, I placed him in my lap, facing me while the floating toy ducks are between the two of us

"Blabwabwabam!!!" He said chuckling showing me the bigger toy duck while I carefully scrub him with his soap

"It's sound should be Quack! Quack! Nicolai, love! *chuckles*"I gently said and he tried but always failed by always talking with B lettered baby words so he look at me looking upset and almost at the urge of crying so I smiled at his very adorable face

"It's okay love... there will be a time for you to learn.... Let's hurry so you wont catch a cold" I laughingly said then scrub myself with my soap but still watching him as he continue playing and splashing the water making some cute little noise that made him end up with an adorable bubble hat

I made myself a bubble hat too so he look at me confuse and somehow interested for he laugh and giggle showing his cute little dimples

We then played with the bubbles but later on, We rinsed ourselves, wrap him in a white towel before wrapping my body with the white towel too. I dress him first with a cotton-blue onesie as he fall asleep again so I gently placed him on the bed between the two big pillows, so I can now start dressing.... I took my already prepared dress and matching underwear placed on the bed...

In the middle of wearing my clothes, my glance drop on my breast which is now bigger than before I carried Nicolai in my womb... my body seems to get fit and well shaped for my fats came out as soon as Nicolai came out.... and my charcoal black shoulder- length hair is now longer... I admit. I also look more matured

I finished wearing my clothes so I look at my reflection again. I'm wearing a white sleeve shirt then black knee length skirt. When I'm satisfied with my look, I walk to my bed seeing my son crawling to me. I took him up walking down the living room, putting him in a crib beside the sofa then turn on the TV showing cartoons . He's been giggling a lot while also trying to get along with the nursery rhymes played

After making sure that he'll be safe, I went to the kitchen where the breakfast is already ready for I prepared it earlier this morning. It's now cold so I heated it first

Finishing my food, I heard my doorbell rang so I went to see who it was where it turned out that it is Derick!!!

"Good morning Rick!!"I greeted him opening the door wider for him to get in

"Good morning too, my beautiful babe!! Where's Nicolai?" He cheerfully said as he hugs me tight- like we haven't seen each other yesterday.. jeez!!

Derick Chandlers a.k.a Rick,My best friend who is mostly look after Nicolai when he's free while I'm at work. We are just friends but likes to call me babe, Nothing special more than that especially that he already has a girlfriend, naming Audrey Barnuevo , who sometimes helps him look after Nicolai.

Good thing that she doesn't mind this boyfriend of hers calling me babe though...

I know that I already disturbs him and his girl by leaving Nicolai to them but they always insist so I can't say no to 'em....

"Nicolai's now waiting for you at the living room, Rick..Come in first" I said

We went to Nicolai and he leaps happily seeing Rick with me

"Hey, Big fella!! Another good day ahead ey? Too bad, Aunt Audrey can't come today... She has an important meeting today" He cooed to my son but Nicolai just giggled at his pouty look. haha ha!!!

"Hey love... Mama's gonna go now.... but don't worry cause mama's gonna take a day leave for tomorrow so we could bond ... Take care and be a good boy!And Rick!! There's some food at the fridge and his milk, formulas, diapers, etch are all ready in case of..."I said kissing him then took my hand bag

"Gotta go Rick!! Just call me when something happens!!Thank you and see you two later!"I bid them before getting out of my apartment and into my car then drive off to the company I'm working at. 🏢🚘🏢
