Epilogue

"Dave! Dave! Dave!" I shouted as I went running down the park kasi si Dave nawawala ulit. Ugh. What kind of mom I am...??? Lagi ko nalang nawawala si Dave, the only boy in my life.

"Mommy.... You're getting paranoid again." reklamo ni Dave nung nag pop lang siya bigla sa harapan ko.

"Dave!" I said and hugged him in relief. 'Don't leave mommy again.. Kay?"

"Yes.. " and then he just shrugged his shoulders. He's so cute! 

"Dave,... can mommy pinch your cheeks.. you're so cute.."  I asked.

He pouted and then said. "I'm not cute... i'm handsome and NO you can't pinch my cheeks!"

"Why???"

"Mommy.... you do that everyday.. when I wake up in the morning, when i eat ice cream... I'm tired.. you make my cheeks so ugly.."

"Hmmm..... You'll never be ugly for me baby... Never."

"That still doesn't change my answer..."

"Hmm.... even though I'll buy you another cup of ice cream...???"

He glared at me cutely. "Mommy, you always bribe. That's unfair!"

"So you wont go for another cup--"

"UGGHHH... Yeah yeah..I lose again... Mommy..you always hit my weakness. i hate you!"

"And I love you sweetiieeee"so I pinched his cheeks so much I can even feel the pain myself. After that, I kissed the only man of my life. Dave Drexon Villanueva. My only son...

"Mommy... tito Jake will visit us again? he always come to our house.... Is he your new crush?" he asked and then licked again the ice cream.

"Dave! where did you get that crush thingy? Huh? gosh.. How old are you old man?" I asked Dave and tickled him.

"Mom... Quit it! My ice creammm!!!"

"Okay...okay.... But tito jake is not my crush... you are my only crush.. baby... sweetiee"

"Cheesssyy"

"AW. I love you Dave.."

"I hate you mom." he snorted.

"Hey... you never said I love you to me ever since.."

"Mom... that's corny. eew."

"You know your father used to say that to me before...." I said out of blue.

"Do I look like him? Ow.. what does he look like? hmm... anyway, you said he's more handsome than tito Jake... is that true?"

"Yeah.. and well, he looks just like you Dave. Actually, you really remind me of him."

"I love dad even though I never saw him... just like How I love my brain even though I never actually see it in person."

"And he's the most kind person you will ever meet..." and then I held hands with Dave.

"Just like how I will raise you...."I added.
