Parenting is with reference to setting your child the prime concern in your life, and with Layla being around she's the apple of her parents' eyes.
She’s now three years old, in the process of starting school pretty soon once Laith and Naomi get back the paperwork and have a home visit from the teacher saying that Layla can start.
Layla is one of the cutest toddlers you’ve ever seen. She has her daddy’s silliness and her mommy’s definiteness but don’t get it wrong Layla’s very well behaved and always on her P’s and Q’s.
Where we last left our characters, Naomi had quit her job at Seventeen Magazine and began a new life as a writer publishing her biography and working on a romance novel that’ll be out in the fall. Laith had did the same as Naomi. He modeled on the side for fun but he enrolled in some classes for college to get his degree to become an art therapist.
Of course Naomi and Laith eventually got married, but now they’ve been taking some time away from their jobs to make sure that Layla is situated because these are the most important and crucial years to be bonding with your child to teach them the basics on how to do and not do things.
As for disciplinary measures neither one ever thought of laying a finger on their daughter they would give her a timeout or tell her that she couldn’t do whatever she’s done calmly. She didn’t know any better.
While Laith was away at school during the day for morning classes, Naomi spent the mornings with Layla running errands, watching Nick Jr. with her and playing around with her until Laith got home from school. The fun would really begin then. The couple would go take Layla out somewhere like the park to let her play on the playground, to get ice cream, movies or even the toy store.
They’re not the World’s Most Perfect Parents they’re only trying to raise their daughter the best way they can with their own type of parenting style.
