The next day was a Saturday, just the right day for chilling down on the couch with some Netflix. Eliza was out for her 'business'- and it made Alyssa feel uncomfortable.

She kept thinking of all the unfortunate things that might happen to her sister. Even Netflix couldn't chill her down. Then she ordered herself- "Come on, Alyssa it's a Saturday... Just chill." If there's anyone who'd be able to carry this business right, it would be Eliza, always cunning.

Soon after three episodes of [The End of the F***ing World], feeling like James, the sociopath are haunting her,

(Author's note: By the way, this is a real Netflix series, and I love it. Just for people who don't know, it's about a sociopath named James, pretending to love Alyssa in order to kill her.)

Alyssa got a familiar -ting- on her iPhone.

It showed two new notices, over her phone background, a picture of her and her friends at Jerry's party from last year. One said- "@Linda_the_wonder posted a picture!" and the other was a text.

It was Tyler.

- Hey

It was funny how Tyler always said 'hey' as an introduction, but Alyssa was okay with it. Maybe it was his way of talk. What to answer was simple.

- Hey.

The period was the point there, trying to show she wasn't too excited at his sudden appearance. Even before she put the phone down on her couch, the -ting- returned.

- Whatya doing?

It was kind of cute. Though it was too classic, something she knew boys would use for girls' attention, it somehow seemed attractive, coming from Tyler. It was somewhat different, not boring and pathetic like she thought it was when it came from other boys.

- Netflix.

Why was she writing in words? Not because she wanted to look uninterested, but since she had already turned on the next episode, and she was busy watching it.

- You ate?

Now Alyssa pressed pause. She looked at the time. Half past noon. She wasn't aware of time, letting her fall into the computer.

- No, lost track of time.

She replied, somehow wondering if he was checking on her, or he wanted to go on a date with her. It would be great if-

- Wanna eat out with me?

Yup, it was a date. Then came the hard part. Was she supposed to say yes? She wondered hard. She didn't want to deny his offer, but then she didn't want to seem too easy. Just because she liked him didn't mean she was falling for him, right? She thought hard enough for a sassy but welcoming, not-so-bitchy answer.

- Why not?

It was the best answer ever. She imagined a self-applause in her head and jumped out of the couch. Eliza would be home by 7. She had plenty of time.

- Where'd you wanna eat?

She hesitated. She did want a simple Doritos Cheesy Gordita Crunch from Tacobell. But it would make her look cheap. Then she thought- 'F*ck it. I'm getting my Gordita Crunch.'

- Taco Bell, if you don't mind.

She didn't want to look bossy, so she added a kind reminder that she wasn't ordering him to take her to Taco Bell,

- Fine with me. I'll pick you up in half an hour.

Tyler seemed to know that girls needed at least half an hour to get her outdoor self on, from the indoor person. All that makeup and picking clothes, it took quite long. Though it would have been better if it was a full hour, however, it wasn't an official date, just a simple take out. Plus, they were both hungry.

- K

She hurried to the bathroom. Her hair was all dried after her morning shower, so she only brushed her teeth.

Then she went over to her room. In front of her makeup mirror, her eye products and brushes waited for her, with her lipgloss. She swiftly dabbed some foundation and eyeshadow; her eyebrows fixed too. Afterward, she merely applied her lipgloss and went over to pick her clothes.

She just pulled on her black hoodie and wore some ripped jeans. Her 'Classic-Saturday' look. She pushed her feet into her Nike classic Cortez (Author's Note: Guys, the Cortez is seriously the prettiest shoes you can get. My fav. Just had to say that ;D) she bought last summer.

When she got out, she found Tyler's car, Tyler in it.

They drove for a few minutes, talking about their experiences in Taco Bell. Alyssa couldn't stop laughing.

"And I told the waiter I asked for no sauce, and she said- No sauce, No food. You ain't getting no sauce from me!"

Alyssa almost cried at his imitation of black-accent. And before they knew it, they parked the car.

"So what did you say you're getting?" Tyler asked. His eyes were slightly slanted and quite handsome. Looking at his face, Alyssa couldn't help feeling delighted.

"A gordita crunch. You?" She asked, already taking her wallet out of her purse.

"Fiery Doritos Locos Taco, always. My sister likes soft tacos though." He answered, pushing the door for her.

"Who doesn't like soft tacos?" Alyssa shrugged. Eliza didn't, but she was an exception. Always.

The two sat down beside a window, their dishes in front of them. The wooden chairs without chair back weren't that comfortable, but it was worked. Food doesn't mind the place. They chatted for a while, getting to know each other well.

But of course, Alyssa kept making small fences around her, trying to limit the things she says. Especially of her family.

"So your sister, uh Eliza? What high school does she go to?" He would ask.

Alyssa simply said- "She's a college student, taking a semester off." Defensive of the reason, she didn't smile or add any more information.

Soon enough, they ate all their food and were ready to go.

Walking across the parking lot, Tyler smiled at her. He was just so perfect, tall and handsome- just like a prince from her fantasies.

When they reached Alyssa's home, she simply waved and walked into her house. Tyler rode away when he saw the door close.

What a girl,

Tyler thought.
